Here is my super secret PvP tip for Spirit Watch, I only decided to share this with everyone cause it seems not many people know of it. SO HERE IT IS!!!!

If your team is being 3-capped (or in danger of being), don’t continue to rush orb.
Re-cap those empty nodes.

Believe it or not, there is in fact, some instances where having possession of more nodes is more beneficial than rushing mid trying to gain power over the orb.

I’m kind of sick of having a good start to a game, the rest of the team gets kitteny and only focuses of orb leaving the enemy team to capture all our nodes. I can’t defend them all myself.

And yes, I’m talking about solo/duo ques in tPvP.

Yeah OP clearly has no idea how this game works.

Whenever i run solo que i make sure all of my team is on the same page with an affirming “ALL ZERG MID GOGOGOGOGO!” yell in map chat.

Today i have found something worse. During solo queue someone took the orb and, after that, stood in the middle looking for fight.

Today i have found something worse. During solo queue someone took the orb and, after that, stood in the middle looking for fight.

Well if you have 2 bunker eles constantly running around (Rtl, mist form and so on..) with the orb removing this feature from the game you can focus on capping points with 3 dps while they all chase your eles without profit…but if you want to do this:

- you need 2 good eles one running around with orb and the other waiting for it when it goes back while you cap everything with 3 dps

- You need to face a pretty bad team…this troll tactic isn’t really effective vs decent teams…i know is bad but at least it’s something different… xD

The map feels like a funnel with the orb as a magnet for bad strategic decisions.

The orb is basically a noob magnet.

It shows how more difficult objectives ruin casual pvp, if you’ve played WoW battlegrounds you know what I mean… That’s why I like the conquest gametype GW2 has.

okej im realy starting to hate this map tbh but that is just cos off all the unfair benificial for som proffesions like the ELEMENTALIST ORE WARRIOR with ther rush ability makes it almost imposible to catch them in time , tbh a nice tuch to this map shold be that the orb carrier losses all it abilitys making the team mates need to protekt it bether .

haha. cant tell you how many times ive seen that happen. had people run off to completely random places, not even near any of the points with it.

When i solo Q on spirit watch i win vs more premades than i do on any other map. The orb seems to be a pretty hefty confuding variable for all but the really organized teams.

Then you gotta ask yourself, should every profession and/or spec be equal at carrying the orb? I feel like when i pick a certain profession or play style its because i want to excel at something…be it bunkering, roaming, killing or completeing the alternate map objective. Obviously ele’s need some nerfin, but if they are still able to spec to be good at running the orb (but not still being able to pwn your face while doing it) i see no problem with it.

But tbh, the worst team you can be in is that more than half of your team lingering in middle killing people while all 3 points are capped by enemies…

I didn’t like the map one bit at the very start..but after a while it grew on me, so now it’s one of my fav maps. I’m loving the overview, and the possibility to turn matches with the orb/well-timed capping.

As some mentioned though, it does suck when you have a good start, but then lose at the end because the team focused too much on orb and too little on capping……

On a side note, faced a 5 ele team just yesterday…was entertaining, to say the least.
