Hello guys and Anet dev.

To night i been playing the whole time in most of 4vs5, 3vs4 battle and this is a hard issue for the 1st very 2-3 mins of the match, really des balance the match turning the team whit the most member to loose the battle.

But there is the real issue, when you see spectator windows you can clearly see around 4-5 dudes waiting for a run to pick the winning team to join at the last moment. We know you working hard to improve this game pvp but is sure you haven’t done enough.

So this is my contribution, even when i know you rarely see this forum to pick feedback i shoot anyway:

Remove spectators option Inside match.

what i mean?
well, If a player want to see matches to learn build, game-play or even if they have a weird habits to see female asura, they have to pick Spectate battles as one only option before join a channel, If that same player want to join a match have to Que or Leave spectator mode and join a match directly.

Also if for some reason a active member of the match wanted to leave the battle and see from spectator, give him the ability to leave battle, BUT denied the option to re-join the same channel, that’s will also reduce the amount of people that force re balance to change the tide of 4vs5 to 5vs4.

We just don’t want players to grind in Guild Wars 2. No one enjoys that.

i think they will not fix this.
we have the means to fix it ourselves though.

for example, we are on blue team
red 5 vs 4 blue

we are one less member in blue team, red team has some lead in the score.
me, from blue team, enters spectator mode so it becomes

red 5 vs 3 blue
so this will force an auto-balance to kick in, as long as the scores are not over 400 yet auto-balance will happen, so we need to auto balance very early in the match.

after many seconds, maybe more than 10, or even 20, auto-balance finally kicks in, the game will become
red 4 vs 4 blue
someone from red will be balanced over.

at this moment, i will join back blue team, making it
red 4 vs 5 blue
hopefully, existing members from blue team will not join red team hoping to ride on the team with higher score.

if there are any spectators hoping to join the team with a lead in the score, they will do so, hence the game will become
red 5 vs 5 blue

it is a crude method but it works.
though sometimes it will become
red 4 vs 5 blue
for the rest of the game and blue makes a comeback and win due to red having one less player for the rest of the game.
