Hello

Me and my guild have start with spvp tournaments and I really enjoy it . First I will admit..im not the best player in the world …Im rather slow…I have kids running around ..Im old…so…

Is there anyone out there that have a rather simple guide to either ranger or necromancer spvp? A guide that I can use for “simple stuff” . Please dont tell me that if u cant play proper dont play…I can play proper but I need it a bit simple…I rather keep it easy and I can do it instead of trying something that is to complicated and I will do a bad job.

The actual guides to using your build and what role you fill … which are crucial stuff, I don’t have the time to find right now .. hope someone else has that info at hand.
I mean .. something more than spirit-rangers tend to be home-point defenders and necro’s tend to be mid-fight team-fighters …. something with more depth.

Welcome to sPvp! As an older player myself I can sympathize, but sometimes wisdom and being cool under pressure trumps twitch skills, so there is hope!

Aside from the excellent guides already referenced, a great way to pick up a few things, especially while doing something else, is watching match videos on youtube, specifically those from the perspective of the class you are focusing on and even with individual maps. Ranger especially is somewhat of a finesse class, in that you need to make up for it’s failings with skill and how you play it, so watching what is done is a great way of learning.

Good luck, try not to let the issues with sPvP deter you – and as a suggestion, if this is a guild effort and you have enough people for it, custom arenas are a nice way to play in a more controlled setting, and a great tool for learning and bringing a group up to speed together for tPvP. Most importantly, have fun!

If you want to play a ranger, the common perception is that you just auto attack with a few dodge rolls and let your pet do the work for you.

Of course, you will find that is far from the truth!
