LoL it was their brilliant idea to give them a celestial form with nothing but healing skills and a trait-line with passive healing and a weapon with healing.
Core ranger was tanky enough. It’s like Druid was their equivalent of the monk from GW1.
Apparently most patch note readers assume that Moa, Canine, and Piggy buffs have affected Rangers pet damage in PvP, srs m8s? Ranger is pretty much the same except Beastly Warden & Protective Ward shaves.

The Beastly Warden & Protective Wards NERF IS NOTHING. It doesn’t change a thing, they still far better than other traits.

Yes but it’s a auto pilot spec that’s the problem.
I have no problem having low skill classes like druids, scrappers, and warriors but you damage your game when they are as strong as these classes are.
Bad game design
Druid and scrapper are low skill. But warrior is not. They are low skill tanks but not low skill play.
The Beastly Warden & Protective Wards NERF IS NOTHING. It doesn’t change a thing, they still far better than other traits.
1. Most players aren’t taking Beastly Warden, they’re taking Zepher’s speed.
2. The 2 other traits in Nature magic are intended for PvE. 1 Spirit trait, and the other vague heal allies around my pet trait which you wouldn’t find useful in PvP anyways. People take Nature Magic for boons, Protective Ward is just the only GM option in that line.
Op , ranger is bottom tear of dps and you still ask for nerf can’t take you seriously

Not unless ANet decreases Condi Warrior, Condi Necro, and Condi Mesmer’s Condi burst and increase their duration, or even just decrease their burst and not even touch duration. Until then Druid’s healing and power should not be nerfed one bit.
THERE JUST HAS TO BE SOME RESEMBLANCE OF COUNTER PLAY AGAINST CONDI BOMBERS. DEAL WITH IT, FACE ROLL CONDI PLAYERS!

Hmm, i can agree with the nerfing but not the druid, HoT pets are the problem. Seems like they do 70% of the job while druid is kiting, healing all the dmg non-stop. It comes to a point where a druid afk’s and the smokescale/bristle just does the rest.
I dont really play druid but i fight a lot of them on wvw, i can honestly say that even druid mains should not be happy with this state atm, unless they’re too lazy to press buttons.
Ppl here laughing at druid dmg, when the dmg output from staff is actually rly high taking into account that staff is a support/celestial refiller weapon

I would really agree if they reduced the dmg of the staff but changed its auto attack, and let it hit aoe. But still it is not the druid but the game itself needs a rework.

Too bad pets dont scale with player stats unlike any other type of companion right?

To be honest I would love to see all AI go away. Minions, clones, pets, turrets, gyros etc. However, that is how they built in “class diversity” so we have to live with it. There is always going to be a profession that has something others don’t.

Sadly a majority of the people in the PvP forums lack the mentality to understand this… they are like 5 year olds… they want the toy in the happy meal now. Not later, now. Doesn’t matter how many times you explain it to them, they will just throw them selves on the floor and cry until they are given what they want.

I think we may have an issue then. I’m all for druids being able to sustain themselves, but they sustain others around them too well. AN obviously didn’t want tanks and healers. They wanted each profession to be capable of holding their own in a unique way. We need to go back in that direction. People need to be reliant on only what they can do

The issue is always the same, we know what the issue is..the devs know what the issue is..everybody who ever played a MMO know what the issue is : the average MMO player wants to win every single 1vs1 against any profession, throw a tantrum otherwise

It is the sole reason druids to exist, to be a healbot in pve
Anet made druid a strong healer on purpose to let people have a soft trinity for raids
You probably havent played raids yet, at least it seems like that from your response. There is a lot of unavoidable damage in raids, like damage auras on some bosses
