State of the Game Show Feedback Thread!
Facepalm
And someone tell Java that Bunker BM Ranger > Trap Rangers
I liked it, I just wish the PvP guests (players) get more of the showcase and direct the flow of the conversation more. Also, if you can post a topic somewhere where players can post questions before and others VOTE on them, then that way we know the most important questions, according to the masses, get asked. That would be great.

They need more people working on sPvP I think. We just need everything faster.

This is something we will try a lot harder for the next show to bring the participating players a bit more into the discussion.
Regarding the questions we did have a thread here on the forums where people could post what they wanted on the show and people could then +1 those that they liked. As for getting an poll to target out individual questions or “rank” the questions would be a lot of work given we had over 200 questions in the previous thread. So using the forum +1 System is a good way to indicate if it is a good question.
I’m always dissapointed when profession balance and bug fixing seem to be very low on priority. I’d vote for fixing the current game somewhat before focusing on new shiny stuff.

I hear this from a lot of players, but balance is actually not bad in this game at all. There are a few builds that can use work, but overall, each profession is in a good place. I think features that bring in more players and keep them there are currently paramount. But, that’s just me.
Lots of stuff we can’t really talk too much about. <_<
I Watched it all live great show Guys
My feedback is positive , you asked good questions but ! I just wish the devs would give straight answers lol , the 2 jons would make great politicians imo
good show well done tho
Show was a utter disappointment, its obvious they will proceed the way they want to and not the way players want. No solo rated queue, no ladder for all pvp players, no new game modes, entry fee for pvp stays, Jonathan Sharp openly saying that players need to be explained how to play, vague answers, no e-sports for years to come apparently without explaining why did they advertise the ingame pvp as e—sports ready etc. Laughable, the pvp in this game is going nowhere.
I enjoyed the video. It showed the developers have some transparency towards us and that means a lot.
Ignorance is bliss.
“We run 5 engineers, maybe that’s why we suck”
I’d really like to know whats going to happen to free tournies since going 1vs1 paid was obviously such a success.
And ppl need to get off the devs nuts. Honestly compared to most games ive played, this is alot of open communication.

Indeed, we all know they can’t say much because if they reveal too much information, it could backfire if said information was altered through further testing.
Like using GW2 and ESport together…..
Id like to tell all the people complaining about thiefs to eat it.
Basically the devs all but acknowledged that thiefs are strong in the low level of play but perfectly fine at high level.
EXACTLY whats been argued on this forum for quite a while. Having trouble with theifs? L2P.
Sorry , but dont push it

After watching this it’s clear that the devs in charge have a good idea of what should happen next in the game and have a good vision of what the game should end up like, and have stepped up their game to improve communication and listen to and implement good ideas from players. They could just use more resources so they can achieve their goals and patch up any issues sooner.
Having trouble with theifs? L2P.
Or Stop playing Hot Joins….

Sad but true

The classes are far from balanced when you consider different skill levels and effort:result – they admitted as much in the video, eg: thief and warrior are OP at early game levels but not at all at higher skill levels. This kind of class imbalance is still a problem.
I question the fair judgment of a player who says “I think warriors are pretty good” and "trap rangers and elementalists aren’t overpowered
Elementalists are overpowered right now and if a person tries to deny it then they are clearly speaking in their own classes favor or the planet team with two elementalists and our freight that they are overpowered composition is going to suffer if that class suffers a Nerf.
I question the judgment of anyone who says warriors are pretty good right now, Rangers are fine, and elementalists aren’t overpowered. Don’t invite that kind of trash to state of the game anymore. If that’s all a “top player” is able to contribute, then please just have only the host and the developers and no more “top players”.
Some of the players who get invited cherry pick what they say during the class balanced discussion because they don’t want to Nerf they are preferred class, and don’t want to give buffs to opposing classes.
These players on state of the game are trying to avoid the topic altogether sometimes because if they want to be seen as a honest contributor, they would have to mention the overpowered class that they play and the underpowered classes that other people play. Otherwise they would be seen as dishonest and biased and would lose credibility with the player base. So they just try to avoid the topic altogether.
This kind of person provides no contribution to the state of the game talk, and is even detrimental to the further balancing of PVP. Stop inviting people like this, and Instead just have the host asked from a list of questions that give voted the most in a “questions to ask during state of the game talk”
