Why don’t we have this still? If we get a 4v5 we should be able to just forfeit and save us a lot of time if there isn’t a chance of winning.

EDIT: This isn’t about hotjoin, it’s about TPVP. In TPVP you can’t leave matches and are forced to stay in the match till it ends.

This is what i do:

1. Join a team
2. I wait for complete team
3. If i am in a team with 4 or less i wait for 1 minute or untill 100-150 point of advantage.
4. leave and join another match.

I know if sad but i dont buy the trolling mechanic of this pvp system so i prefer to play my own game. Sometimes i just enter spectators mode and re-balance stacked groups, If you know what i mean

i dont think u can leave match and join another. When i come back after dc and go pvp lobby i get teleported to current match

In middle of the match you click the crossed swords icon on in the menu, you click join a match and you automatically join another match with better complements or maybe worst. Keep searching match untill you find a place where you think you can spend you time and enjoy the match.

cause it is useless when matches dont even last 10 minutes

in league of legends you can´t resign before 15 minutes or is it even 30? dont know

I would be careful with resign, it would have to be very limited and only available in certain situations to prevent rage quit abuse

Resign already kind of happens when one team gets about 200 points ahead, especially once they hit 400.

The losing team just tends to group up and try to beat on one of the winning team’s members somewhere.

I’m only referring to TPVP here, not hotjoin. Can’t leave in TPVP.

Also, matches may be short but in GW1 for example the matches could be near instant. But if you know you won’t win, you can still save time.

If you PVP all day long, and have at least 4 matches that would take 5+ minutes to lose, where it’s obvious you can’t beat the enemy comp, then if you resign each time you’ll save 20 minutes right there.

yeah i agree, this should’ve been implemented a year ago.

No rewards for pvp (and no, giving pve rewards as pvp does not count)

every other game i try out has a better pvp-environment than gw2. still game mechanics beat almost everything
