So, I was wondering around in the PvP area, trying out some new builds and tactics, having a good time. When I was finally going to try out this new build, I thought it would be a great idea to try it out on one of the profession combatants as they always put up a honest and decent fight.
It turned out my build was up to no good and I got downed. But then i saw that I was only one hit away from downing my enemy, the elementalist combatant.
Great, I thought, and got one hit on her and down she fell beside me. I started to regain some hope after all. I mean, she’s there, cumbling beside me!
Then suddenly, she rose up, starting to deliver the final killing blow!
IMPOSSIBLE! How could this happen? Are my eyes decieving me? Has she been blessed by the gods above?
Before I could believe what I was seeing, she killed me. I was now laying there on the ground, defeated.
As my spirit started to escape my body, I suddenly see that she’s in her downed state again!
My spirit is filled with anger. How could this happen?!

He used glyph of renwel in fire attunement.

Pretty sure it’s a mechanic to make sure you get to revive quicker (when it doesn’t bug, you get revived after getting stomped by those NPCs).

Yea, all of the profession npc’s can stomp from the downed state for some reason, not just the ele.

They also all hit like a truck right now.

Yeah, I ran up to one yesterday, killed the Necro pretty quick, but its down state attack downed me very quickly.

They seemed to have been buffed by the patch…a lot.

Indeed. Was playing around with a build, saw the nice squishy elementalist, started my rotation. and… was downed. 10k arcane burst, then a few 4k vaporblades… (for non-eles the vapor blade is usually a joke, it’s base damage is 111 at lvl 80)

Yeah, they are a bit buggy in that regard.

Spvp npcs aren’t the same pushovers as the pve ones :P
