Usually I like PvP in this game, but starting a few days ago, I’m having some really strange issues with finding “good” (close) matches.

Most games end like 500:100 or 100:500. Together with some strange queue times, I’m starting to feel frustrated.

It is really no fun to wait like 15min to join a match and stand no chance what so ever. Most of the time you play against a whole guild group when you get totally anniolated. Why not wait another 5 minutes and get a fair match when I have to wait 10min anyway?

Anyway, since it was kind of working before, I guess it’s a bug and want to ask if they said anything when it will be fixed and you can queue again. I coudn’t find any ETA on fixing the matchmaking or similar.

PS: I’m always playing unranked. Is ranked balanced better? I’m kind of scared since people told me only “pro esport players” play ranked and I’m not that good yet.

Were you playing at strange hours? Usually I get good matches, but if I play late I get teams with very disparate skill levels.

By the way, I think you’re comfortable enough on your thief to start playing ranked. Don’t duel bunker/celestial builds, get a decap on far only if you see that your team is winning at mid, and you’ll be fine.

ranked is essentially the same as unranked, but it doesnt have the bad maps that people hate.

the queue times are typically a bit longer, because more people are afraid of ranked due to ladderboard and being told “dont play ranked unless ur good and srs”.

you do need to try in ranked, because the point is to win. so please do your team a favor and just dont test things in ranked. other than that since youve already made the jump from hotjoins to unranked, you can feel free to queue for ranked. it isnt all espurts playaz.
