Stronghold Channeling
Of course this turns into a “WARRIOR OP” rant.
Thier is no reliable counter-play to the stability channel and i request that it should be changed!!
The reliable counter play is “be there first”. They gave a 30 seconds long warning before the buff appears.
Already quit PvP. Just log in here and there to troll.
Yes, this was suggested several times after the first beta, no one listens.
lol, it’s super easy to get. What you should be more worried about is CCing guards.

Yes, that’s exactly the point. It’s too easy to get. Now imagine you’re a spec without stability and have to take the buff from a hambow.
you won’t like this answer but.. send a thief. or send 2 and kill the warrior in the 10 secs.

Warriors aren’t OP. We’re simply discussion the lack of counterplay the Channeling has when a perma stability warrior is on it.
Rank: Top 250 since Season 2
#5 best gerdien in wurld

And that’s exactly what’s wrong with the map. Promoting thieves and warriors again, like they’re not enough in conquest already. And by just simply not being able to do normal channelling like on other maps.

And Jalis revenant with perma stability for them and allies standing in the field. 0 counterplay

Didn’t even think about that. Only shows how silly it is atm.

As a mesmer I got it every time without stability. If you’re there first it’s super easy to get. If warrior is trying to ignore you and commune with stability, start communing before them. Predict it, they won’t think to stop and interrupt you, usually, and if they do they are wasting time on there stability.

That’s not the point. The point is the map is creating an unfair advantage to some classes by default.

Tbh i dont know why Rampage is the only “Transform” skill type that can channel stuff MIDWAY.
Mistform, plague, mini engie can only do 1 it before start.
DeathShroud – always been adressed as a transform by the devs – so you dont get weapon swap sigils with it, but also breaks and chanel even if its instant.
Tornado, lich – only have 1/5 bugy exploit to do it and they both even get only 1x stack of stab compared to 3×.
No mention on the damage and condi reduction.

Yea, because it’s not possible that they heard the complaint, but still disagreed, right?
Personally, I think it’s justified. The captures here aren’t as crucial as something like tranq/stillness and with the stab changes, you can still break through the stab without a boon strip if your team is coordinated.
If you don’t think that the latter is the case, then it’s probably a better argument for lowering the stacks of stab…
@ Flumek: I think that’s because Rampage is such a rarely used elite (well, it seems to be gaining popularity lately), but I do think that it should be consistent with other transform skills.
