Stronghold - New Map
I thought stronghold was an entirely new mode for HoT users (pvp, wvsw and now something new). When I found out it was that pvp map i’ve played a few times……was not impressed. And the fact they gated this map behind the expansion as a selling point…not impressed. Its just a basic pvp map its really not all that amazing or interesting.
For what it is though….its funner and more interesting than most pvp maps although I still agree its far from amazing or spicy compared to basic pvp maps.

There is a different featurethat shares the name Stronghold, I think it’s a raid that is exclusive to HoT owners. It has nothing to do with PvP. Could be what you are thinking of?
As for PvP, I’d like to see some new SH maps and some new Mist Champions. I prefer it to Conquest.

You don’t need HoT to play the stronghold map- it is not gated content.

1 its not ‘gated’ its ‘part of’ the expansion.
2, i think Anet allow people to play the stronghold map even if you don’t have the expansion, so why are you not impressed?
