Doorbreakers being stealth is not a huge deal compared to not wanting to join the conquest which i dislike.

Honestly I thought it was intended play as someone who is often defending. I just read the signs as I would any stealth entity and killed them with aoe.

Yep. They would appear right to the door. So you had to mentally follow the speed and guess were that doorbreaker could be.

well that’s a bummer, stronghold was a fun place to play for dailys and not worry about all that other messy stuff.

I see I did notice some buggy behavior. Like doorbreaker models that seemed to freeze in place while the real doorbreaker was actually near the gate. (being used to this from yaks in wvw i still killed them )

Ah… that explains it. I didn’t even realize there was a bug. Glad to hear it’s being fixed but sad as my team was hoping for some Stronghold tonight. Hope it’s a quick fix and thanks for working on the weekend to correct it.

what about a guild missions then?

When will it be back up? Conquest has been nothing but utter smashing. Can’t find 4 other of my good PvP friends on at the same time to run 1 group or they’re all in other groups running. Solo queue is pretty much almost always a loss. :/ Before HoT I was running ranked and I’d win 2 of every 3 games and had streaks up to 8 games. Now I am lucky to win 1-2 games a night if I run 6-8. x_x

Maybe its lame, but thats how broken stuff has to be dealt with. Disable until fixed.

Conquest is the most boring game mode ever conceived. Yet another thing that wasn’t tested before launch, what a shocker. And now I can’t PvP for wings. I don’t care about PvP. I just want wings and to semi enjoy getting them. Thanks again, guys.

I like stronghold because #1 it’s closer to my preferred mode WvW. #2 I’m not a fan of bunker wars and stronghold allows many different comps to win.

Not even mad man, he already cleared up why it’s down I’m sure most people understand.

Guess I don’t need to play in ranked until they fix this then… I am so full of conquest, not that I was ever that great of a player but still, it gets old fast playing the same thing over and over. For now Stronghold is still fresh for me.

StrongHold is probably the only map a thief player can actually have fun and do its thing where as conquest the nodes are normally to aoe heavy. Shame it’s gonna take a week….

God conquest is awful, time to just not play for a week I guess…

At least tells us that the Season duration will be expanded. Some of us like for example me can pvp during weekends only. And personally I’m pretty tired of conquest after 3 years.

Come on, Stronghold is the only reason I still care about pvp.

Now that this exploit is mass common knowledge I really agree with a disable until fix.. Though this is the only mode I’ve been enjoy of late, I feel it’s worth the wait.

Bashing down defenceless doors, and killing npcs… Sounds like your typical sox wvw experience. I’m surprised you don’t love the gamemode.

Try grinding in Silverwaste for hours. Why would you want the wings if you don’t care about PvP? The entire point of those wings is to show your PvP mastery and tell the rest of the game not just, “I’m a PvP guy!” like glorious armor or some titles do but, “I’m an excellent PvP guy!”

I personally think conquest is kinda fun.

I know I’ve complained about this one, but disabling Stronghold altogether is pretty rough. My guild has a guild mission that will expire before even the update next week – so we’re completely screwed out of that favor, which we really need for our guildhall. Remember, guilds cannot change their preferences for which missions we’re stuck with until the following week. Will customer support grant us that favor?

And even with the bug, I much prefer Stronghold over Conquest for ranked.

Please enable Stronghold again so we can get our Guild Mission done. The bug isn’t that big a deal to lose out on Favor. Just post the bug so we’re all on an even playing field for now. TY

Everyone complaining.. It’s not being nerfed, it’s being fixed, they were being stealthed and the stealth was NOT breaking on them at all, even after wearing off, they would remain invisible..

Maybe to you the wings are something like an status symbol. I just think they look good and they are nice reward for playing pvp well. That said, I already miss Stronghold. Conquest is just boring.

Eh not quite.. Never was a zergling or ppter… PvD does not float my boat. I have been a roamer/small group player since beta. So take your condescending attitude and put it where, you know where.
