Did any of the devs announce or give hint on the release date of the expansion? like 2nd / 3rd / 4th quarter of 2015 or maybe even 2016? if not any hints from the devs would be appreciated

Also about Stronghold , I assume it will be 8v8 like the GvG in gw1? that was the best game mode in any game I played! if not 8v8 anyone knows the any numbers or can any devs give hint or is it not decided yet?

No, but prolly in 2015

They said they are still testing the group size, it could be anything from 5v5 to 10v10,

There will be a preview for stronghold the 7th on twitch, if im not mistaken

For Stronghold team size, they said in an interview they were testing primarily 5v5, but still open to sizes up to 10v10.

It is likely on the third quarter of 2015 due to the NCSoft forecast, earning call or whatever it is called.

Anet won’t say anything even if they aim for a certain date it is to prevent the “You lied to us.” when thing didn’t go as planned.
