I remember this thread from a year ago, but a search yields nothing.

I still have the enemy selected after I run from the point, the enemy leaves combat and returns to full HP. I do not ever leave combat, I walk around at a snail’s pace for 2 full minutes with 740 HP because the code says I must.

No conditions on me, no fall damage taken, just never leaving combat for 0 reason. Patch code please?

i think it has something to do with NPCs keeping you in combat if you’ve hit them (or they’ve hit you) and since there are alot more MMs you’ll be seeing this more often.

It’s also regularly an issue for Mesmers if a clone is left alive somewhere. I suspect part of this might have to do how long someone you hit/hit you remains in combat themselves. I find it to be much more likely that I remain in combat when disengaging from an ongoing fight than from a quick skirmish.

just kill your target or de-target them and try sheathing your weapons. sometimes that helps, if not then just let them kill u problem solved
