Well…. due to my internet having problems today. I got the dishonorable debuff. What gets me about this debuff is that it lasts 3 days. Is that really necessary? Now the suggestion I have in mind to help prevent this from happening to people that at least run in guild groups (Help’s with “guild benefits” I know people have been wanting). Is having an option before you start the round (As long as majority of your group: 3+ people, are in the same guild). To be agree that if someone “Disconnects” or “leaves” during a round. That they do not receive a stack of dishonor.

Second change if the first wouldn’t even been considered what-so-ever. Would be to just cut the 72 hours to maybe 24 hour ban. Some people do work and use those days to get their game time in. When something unfortunate like your internet acting poorly becomes the thing that keeps you from enjoying the one aspect of the game you actually like. That can really make someone disgruntled with the services provided.

Anyways this thread isn’t meant to become a flame fest or anything. It’s just a suggestion I doubt will be read by Anet. But it’s worth a shot.

The only reasonable exception to Dishonorable for me is if you are doing Team Queue with a full pre-made team and they all check a box indicating they are okay queueing up with you. Solo Queue and partial Team Queue (even 4 should not be enough) should absolutely be out of the question.

This exception may also be iffy, and calls into question whether the Dishonorable debuff is intended as punishment (deterring people to willfully leave their matches) or as protection (ensuring 5v5 matches for everyone else).

Content in this game will always seem
to be faceroll at the high levels, because it
needs to be accessible to the casuals and bads.
