I suggest to make some kind of buff on all players after end of pvp round with “Retaliation” effect multiplied by 10. Reason: encourage sportsmanship. Its not polite to fight when you heard the sound of the gong.

Instead, they should not do this. IMO.

If that is the only ‘unsportsmanlike’ behavior you are experiencing I would take it as a blessing, as opposed to the standard juvenile insults concerning other’s orientation or something else completely less than creative.

Lol. They just might be so caught up in trying to kill you and didn’t hear the gong. I know, I’m sometimes like this. Haha but I like your suggestion.
