I have an idea to fix the swapping issue in Hot Join. Why not make it so if you manually go from a team to spectate mode in the middle of a match you are locked in spectate mode till the next match? You can basically only pick team in start of matches or if auto-balance kicks in.

maybe but it helps stop ppl trolling switching team

switching team is fine, if they help the losing team to get more players.

switching team is not fine, if they help themselves to the winning team, causing the losing team one player short still.

plus, those who get auto balanced over get full win rewards anyway.

those who get auto balanced over should not be able to join back their original team manually.

switching is not the real problem,
the real problem is, the players prefer to play 4 vs 5 and not 5 vs 5.
