I think i’m not the only one who refuses to play soloQ cause of this map and agrees on deleting it, anyway, even if i’m in good company with all those sharing the same feelings Anet isnt going to throw away the map, so we’d better try to make it … acceptable.

The most annoying fact in kittenhammer is that ppl can just spec full bunker with loads of pull/push skills and be able to kill more efficiently than a dps spec in any other map, ofc while having all the advantage of a high defence build.
So i had an idea… what about adding another layer in the map ? the lower one, where you just fall and die, could actually be turned into a playfield.
This can be done by lowering the height of the whole map so that falling from a breakable plate wont kill you, but will just cause a delay (still annoying i know, but at that point it would be much more similar to Khylo clocktower).
The delay caused should not be too long ofc, otherwise it would just be better to die and respawn, if it took less time; so we should also have some ramps or jump pads to be able to get back to the point in …say 5-6 seconds, this would still allow the decap-play and time-buy play but wont be as punishing as death (5 points and over 20s out of the fight, just for a kitten knockback).

If we want then to make things even more interesting we could add another access to skyhammer platform from this lower layer, maybe in a position that would require some time to reach, so that player would go for it only if they get pushed down.
This would introduce a bit of more tactic play cause if you win the point by pushing them under the map they might gain a quick access to skyhammer.
