[Suggestion] Let us see teammates amulet
Brilliant idea, improve the scoreboard to show utilities and amulet of friendlies, or provide a pop out of their PvP build.
Why not? More tools for teamwork, less of being upset that you didn’t prepare for a staff-zerkerjihad Ele

To play devil’s advocate;
I think part of this issue is solved just with common courtesy. If I’m playing an oddball build I won’t be shy I’ll just say in /team “hey I’m playing Venomshare” “hey I’m playing XXX”, is encouraging that sort of behavior a better or worse idea?
Isn’t this the point of playing as a team? If you’re in solo queue, for better or worse, you’re getting random people. If you want fixed people and you know what they’re playing, you should be team queuing.
The thing is one can share his build and stats as much as he wants, he will never force people to do so.
Sure, this is normally the strength of teamplay but in an environment where teams and solo players are mixed the difference becomes too large.
Of course, there is a risk that somebody will see someone not having the metabattle amulet and start to bully the guy even before the game starts but in any case, this kind of player will always find a good reason to bully someone for one reason or another.
I’m not too familiar with Lol but I remember that I started the game by having one of each archetype ready to be able to compensate for the people who were selecting their hero before even saying hello. That was not a reason for winning but at least it was a way to not have three carry and no mid.
I read a lot of complaint about “my team is bad and so on” but I think the problem starts with “I don’t know what my team is composed of”. Many people assume their teammates have a Meta build but truth is during leagues, we are paired with a lot of players who even don’t have a clue of what the word Meta means (well the definition is broad so I’m not sure everybody agree on a meaning but at least we have a slight idea of the concept behind the word).
My experience as non english player is that many other players don’t visit the forum related to their language (I never read /post on the french forum save for some translation that I find weird) and won’t spontaneously look for english websites and so don’t necessarily know that the “advised” way to play one classes or another is this or that build. Those people then don’t understand why their teammates becomes upset when they discover their build.
My feeling is that a lot of player frustration, especially during leagues, come from the fact that the game does not help you to read your team comp. Giving us some clue (or even the entire build) would strongly help.
Great idea for pug groups

No! If the game stated who is carrying offensive/defensive/tank/healer amulets and gave us the ability to balance our own teams at a glance we would come dangerously close to an actual good PvP game. It would be horrible!!!
This idea would set a record for “Fastest AFK”.
As soon as some guy presses B and sees an amulet or utility that he doesn’t approve, that’ll be it. " I’m AFK if you’re gonna use that * amulet!"
It’s a good idea in theory, but the environment is too toxic. It’s best to just team queue with people that you already know their builds.

This is actually a valid concern that I share. And of course to fight against that either a better “report” function would be needed or if the guy unlog seeing this he could be replaced during the pre match dead time.

I was going to write basically the same thing. It could cause even more toxicity. Not sure i like this idea.
“Buff my main class, nerf everything else. "
I actually don’t know what’s the issue of being able to see enemy comp given you are not allowed to change your comp. All this does is to promote meta build game where build > skill. Every build is counterable but if you guess incorrectly you are nerfing your team basically.
After playing Overwatch this past weekend I really liked the option of being able to select whatever I wanted to play and whatever I thought was right. And if I was being countered because of enemy comp I could switch to counter them. I think it was a great aspect of the game. It allowed for a lot more strategy than “rotation”.
Since it would be silly to change builds/classes/specs midgame, it would be nice to at least know what you are fighting against in that short one minute time. It might also give insight on weaker people why they die.
I mean … with only 3 trait lanes, any build can be guessed to the the spot, I don’t know why some “pros” try to hide it. It takes 1 encounter to know what you are wearing and what traits you’ve picked. The only thing that is kinda hard to guess is the amulet because there are so many options that overlap each other. But let’s face it … most professions builds are limited to 1 tops 2 amulets to be viable. It’s not like thieves suddenly will pickup clerics. And if they do they’ll be free kill anyway.
This would be awesome!
Make it like they do in SMITE but gw2 formatted

This is a good point, but is it really relevant? A toxic player will always find a reason to AFK, possibly very early in the game: they don’t like your title, they feel like the opening was so bad it’s not worth moving on and so on…
I actually like the idea of showing the amulet, it would help think of a decent strategy from the start. Most players don’t bother to talk, some even hide the chat to avoid being exposed to toxic behaviors… With amulets shown, I’d be able to understand what role players intend to fulfill during the game, and adjust accordingly.
Don’t forget to add a report option for bad builds.
