The winner of a monthly cup is barred from the next cup. This allows other teams one chance per month to win a cup rather than having one team (abjured) farming every cup.

The NA cup yesterday had close matches in almost every matchup and was more fun to watch. It also gave the lower seeded teams a chance to show their worth, who would usually be seeded again abjured in round 1 or 2 and subsequently rolled over without a chance.

You’d kill off your high-end teams pretty quickly when barring them from the only tournaments with monetary rewards.

I would like to not remove such right from anyone, no matter how good or bad they are.

Barring from a single cup a month. One might argue that the high end teams are dying quickly because only one team is consistently getting the monetary rewards.

To clarify, I’m suggesting that the winner of a monthly is barred from the following weekly but can play in the rest of them after that one weekly.

It would be bizarre to restrict people as overqualified for the highest tier tournament we have now that the WTS is finished.

There are already other tournaments for lesser teams to compete in/

Academy Gaming on Mondays is the other tournament for lower tier teams to compete in. The Pugquest on Saturday doesn’t allow teams.

Nope nope nope, never ever penalize a team for winning!

I know in NA the Abjured is the king of the hill for a very long time but for the competitors to win just because their nemesis is basicly banned is not a glory, I don’t think the QT or the dK wana win at this way.

In the EU this is not even a problem there is multiple team competing for the top every week, there are winning and losing streaks.
