Removes whole stacks of the might boon.

there we go, strap on this sigil and your opponents will no longer be able to stack might boon for more than 5 seconds.

If it’s all might stacks this sigil would be extremely OP against any build that specs for stacking might.

If it’s 1 might stack I wouldn’t even think about using it since there’re better alternatives.

I’m assuming it removes the full stack. Removing one, even at five seconds wouldn’t be that useful.

This is pretty much what we been asking for. Both cele engi and ele takes huge hits with this.

you can create a new topic for that. and a new name as well.
and warriors have a lot of access to stability, but not perma stability.

necromancers can have at least 3 seconds of stability with 3 seconds down time if they trait for it and flash death shroud whenever they can.

Against non might stacking builds the sigil is useless while it’s too strong against might stacking builds.

Think about it this way:

By only using this sigil you completely counter any + boon duration (for might) and + might duration (since there is no point in having might stacks > 5 sec). You also counter any long duration might stacks like sigil of battle or fire field combos. Effects like +5% damage while under the effects of might would also take a huge hit.

All that for only 1 sigil slot.

I like the idea of sigils removing specific boons but they need a much longer CD. Otherwise they completely destroy certain builds / make other builds extremely OP (just imagine a CC-heavy warrior who can remove your stab every 5 secs on hit).

aye, it is intended to be a hard counter for might stacking builds.

if the cooldown is too short, what cooldown would be reasonable?

anyway i added a second version to make it more versatile and perhaps useful against non might stacking professions as well. cooldown is 10 seconds instead of 5 seconds.

I’d honestly just buff the Sigil of Nullification to 60% on hit (rather than on crit), and have it prioritize certain buffs (i.e., something like might > 5 stacks, stab > 5 secs, protection > 5 sec, fury > 5 sec) with the same 9 sec cooldown.

If it makes eles or engis want to run that over Battle/Int/Doom then it’s already done its job somewhat

Just buff Sigil of Nullification to 50% on hit to remove a boon. Make it prioritize Might > Stab, and we have a balance one.

Gray out the HP for future condition damage
Already quit PvP. Just log in here and there to troll.

Nerfing might stacking is good, but a weapon sigil isn’t probably the best way to do it…capping max stacks to 15 or just dropping down duration would be much better

Mhm….Might is usually last applied as it is constantly re-stacking itself. There is no technical prioritization; besides last applied. Just like your condi-cleanse, last applied is first off.

So I think the consensus is that sigil of nullification could be reworked to prioritise full stacks of might (an order would be nice) although stability/protection could be low priority.

This would help zerker classes without boon hate vs might stacking bunkers which have, lets face it, been meta since launch.

Also on a deeper level it makes classes that don’t swap to thier weapons as they go off cooldown (due to one being ranged, one melee) much, much more viable in a might stacking meta.
