[Suggestion] Possible New Game Mode

I think it’s been suggested a few times. People asking for 3v3 arena deathmatch. I think Anet could really add something new to PvP. I know they added Stronghold, but….. man I HATE Stronghold. Something just seems broken with it. Everytime that mode pops up, I just want to quit lol.
They did have 5v5 Deathmatch, in the Courtyard map, but they removed it. They could do with adding something a bit more simple than Conquest, because it does have a steep learning curve, with so many people just treating it as Deathmatch.
Last night I was in a game, where after we got mid, my entire team ran to far. We won the game, because the enemy team had bad coordination, but man I had to hold on to mid by myself against a Mesmer (and a second one later), for what felt like an eternity, because my team just ran about in a zerg at far.
So basically, I think it could be a nice idea for them bring a deathmatch mode back again, because so many people don’t understand Conquest that well. Although Anet could’ve done a better job of explaining how to play it.
Their deathmatch was a bit flawed I feel. It usually went in favor of one team and it made it hard to coordinate when you solo queue.
The downside to deathmatch is if 1 person on your team goes down it puts the fight heavily in favor of the other team. This is why I think bunker teams would dominate this type of game.
I don’t think a team that just bunkers the entire match should win the round. Thats why I think the win should be based on killing the entire enemy team first and points second.
100 points for a kill
20 points for downing an enemy
If both teams end the round with 0 points the win goes to the team that did the most damage.
Or the match could end in a draw. If both rounds end in a draw neither team is rewarded a pip and neither team loses one.

Yeah, Courtyard ended up snowballing in 1 direction. It could’ve been good, if they worked on it and made changes.
I loved Alliance Battles from GW1. 12v12 was great. Not sure how that’d work in GW2 though, given how the AoE spam can be bad in just 5v5 lol.
I really would like to see a new game mode in PvP though. Conquest gets boring and can be very overwhelming for newcomers.
This is a pretty bad example, and I’m aware it more than likely wouldn’t work with GW2, but maybe if there was some kind of more “casual” PvP, that players can hop into. You know if you play something like Star Wars Battlefront, you can play Deathmatch like 15v15 people?
It’s pretty stress free and something you just jump into when you want a bit of fun. Again, that’s probably a very bad example, given it probably wouldn’t work in GW2, but we could use something new in the game for sure.
