Support Druid build driving everyone crazy?
People want just Spin to Win, spam Shatter etc.
Anything else than Power builds make them lose their minds.
People just hate rangers. It’s been that way for a long time and the minute they get something good there’s cries of outrage and calls for nerfs. I mean, just look at this section. First we get qq about lingering light, that got nerfed, and now there’s qq about ancient seeds.
Well considering I got matched with you on my Druid last night perma (post nerf) with celestial, you may see how good it’s support is.
Yes Druid is much easier to lock down and kitten up than a bunker guard in the older meta, but the healing it brings is dramatically higher. Based on post game stats, I’d have 3-4 times the healing to allies as a cele Druid compared to a cleric guard with twice as much healing power.
Druid condition removal is relatively low, and it’s weak to CC, so that keeps it from being god mode imo. Lingering light nerf was slightly too harsh though. 8 seconds and a bump on heal value would’ve been spot on.

If you are talking about just the in the past week you still missed some. Ignoring all the nerfs between the one BWE rangers got and release, they have also taken a couple pet nerfs, a nerf to trapper runes (because of thief and DH), removal of minstrel amulet, and I’m sure there are others.
That’s just the past week…. since launch rangers have been ignored or kitten on. If using ancient seeds in a cc build even starts to look like it might be a viable option, the trait will be nerfed into uselessness in a matter of days.

There is a difference between a Druid and a bunker guard. The druid just heals, while the guardian provides damage mitigation as well as condition cleanses to the entire team which are a high AoE range and very reliable.
People just see one side, omg druid heals more. Yes it does, but it does not mitigate damage!!
As for the LL nerf, sure it was justified. But it was not nerfed, it was nuked out of viability. Major difference!

I’m seeing many, many posts of people complaining about Druid being OP. As a long time support/bunker player, I have experimented with many Druid builds.

Ultimately, the lack of instant condi AOE clears (they have seed of life over 180 range after it growth) and reliable AOE stability ….
With less reliable REZ options and AoE protection, blinds, blocks, mights… I would say that druid is a Healing Bot without support.
This is interesting, because if meta would change to have a healing druid, SUPPORT guard could rise to do something for AOE group support while leaving the healing power option for something more like Barbarian Amulet.
So, for exemple if your comp bring good healing… like druids, hereald, engy and ele… Support guard PVT or Barbarian could be really good for us.
