Take downed state out Pvp
Dont keep it in wvw,it’s even worse in there.Remove it entirely from wvw/pvp and keep it only in pve.

Stability is not a solution to the problem. Did you even read the post?
If you die, you die and it should be that way.
This is how it works now.
When you kill your enemies they stay dead until they respawn.
Downed state does not equal death or defeat.
In order to kill your opponent you have to finish them.

Im sorry but this doesnt make sense. You talk about DH being so OP as well as ranger and engy being OP in the rez game which is a bit true but saying that there is no amount of cleave to stop them? Thats so wrong, especially with the fact that necros using marks that cant be blocked, engy with the moa AOE skill, mesmer with the moa and the huge amount of DPS out there right now.
Good teams will focus on rezzing, if 1 person in a team fight goes for a rez and the other 2 dont its a free kill on top of the down person. I also disagree with stability but it is thrown out as candy so stability shouldnt be a problem for almost every class except thief. Which brings up stealth kills which once again helps killing other players. AOE stealth revives means you as a team must dps the area. You can only go so far.
So i will do what you did, down state is great. Ive made legendary each season and currently using a DPS rifle warrior and a DPS mesmer. Im able to get my kills and i feel it creates great game play.

agreed. if someone goes to rez just start hitting both of them. most classes auto attack is a aoe anyway. you basically get free damage and with most melee you can out dps their healing kill their teamate and leave them heavily damaged. if rezzing is a problem for you its a l2p issue.

Yeah, I read your whine session. Next time you go to stomp, pop a skill that gives you stability and let me know how it goes. Maybe you’ll stop crying like a baby.
Down state is good for spvp.
It would be amazing if they just made stomps happen automatically.
I don’t think the issue lies in the downed state mechanic, the issues lie in the ressurection mechanics.
There’s so much stability, aegis, aoe stealth, and aoe CC that can keep stomps away and keep you ressing without a lot of punishment.
The amount of cleave damage you can do never matches res speed, and 2 people ressing a downed ally can beat out pretty much any stomp. Ressurection speeds, especially when stacked, are too fast. Quick-stomping got nerfed.

Both teams have the opportunity to ress and stomp so it seems like a non-issue…
Sometimes i get the ress off in time, sometimes not.
