I think you did not get the concept of Play to win …
It’s fun to see ppl complain and demand that the condition/hybrid players should change their playstyle. While you at it, could you ask for blocks, evades, cc and all forms of dmg to go away. Then pvp will be truly nice and cosy. Maybe we need more pink and fluff in the arenas.
To be serious: are you trying to win or just complaining about everything in the matches? Don’t make rules that restrain yourself. I for one found, that it doesn’t matter if my enemy is condition or power dmg based. Winning or losing depends on the knowledge and skill of the enemy. (1 vs 1 against a mesmer is a pain for some)
How do I know when someone does not bring the necessary knowledge to the fight?
Remember how PU on mesmer was a thing? Had ppl complaining I was PU even though I wasn’t even running chaos. And now ppl state that I am playing a condition tank, even though I use sinister. With that kind of ignorance sadly I can’t argue, because they will not see the errors of their way. Ignorance kills the bad players, not conditions.

Omg we have the same life lol. Like Can’t even put one condition on my enemy without being labeled a condition user on my mesmer haha. I complained about mesmer condition long before though knowing we were guna get hated on. I asked them to seperate condition elements from power builds but they didn’t listen so power mesmer deals allot of condition damage. One torch for example can stack 5 stacks of burning while shatters give confusion. iduelists or (lol great sword illusions) can stack bleeding up to 20 stacks if ignored. And, well., scepter and staff is pure condition even if you try going power with it. The least used weapons right now are pure power based such as Sword/focus.

Don’t really consider Mesmer and Necro to be tanky by any stretch in their Carrion amulet meta builds.
I think Adrenal health should be tweaked slightly, right now, hitting a burst skill refreshes the other stacks.
It’s similar to the concept of getting a single might stack, and that refreshing however many old might stacks to the same new duration.
Basically, you can miss multiple burst skills and not receive less healing from Adrenal Health as long as you keep refreshing the old stacks at the last second.
Edit:. Change Adrenal health so each burst skill adds one stack, and each stack has its own separately tracked duration

To all you condi cheese players that haven’t stopped reading to make a rage post yet. Do you still want to play condi? Then use viper/sinister or any other condi amulet and L2P. Nobody should be able to land a few skills from range and have it deal 20k damage if those condis aren’t removed. If you want to do the damage of a burst build, than have the defense of a burst build. Oh, and there gets a point to where power builds run out of condi clear skills, cause they have to be spammed to keep up with the never ending condis, so don’t even try to use the “just cleanse it” excuse.
Next week: OP gets rekt by players using viper/sinister and rushes back to the forums:-

Well sinister is kinda overloaded. I mean its power, condition, precision. Pure offensive stats. If a player uses it right it is really strong.
I’ve seen some Sinister burn/trap guardians who melt people. (Team only as 1 vs 1 you don’t last long)
First, I don’t care about you special snowflakes that like to run sinister mesmer or anything like that, that’s fine and its not op. What I do have a problem with is the builds that I listed, all of which I have played quite extensively too, and can carry 90% of my games by rolling my face across my keyboard. Just like I did with bunker ele where I got to 5 pips from legend, solo, by going to mid and doing /sleep (I wish I was joking). So that also means the opposite of what some of you are claiming, I’m not complaining because I lost to these builds, I’m complaining because I win WAY to easily with them.
For the record, I do think classes like revenant and thief have to many damage mitigation skills, and that scrapper has to many passive defensive skills, and that DH has to much healing for the damage it can do, and so on. However, THE PVP DEVS CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT THAT. now I’m not a master with those builds, but I have used them an sufficient amount to be able to say what I am with some meaning.
I’m just trying to do something that I haven’t seen anyone else on the forums try to do. That is try to come up with ideas for ways the PvP devs can make PvP a better experience so it might one day be able to resemble the high points of pre HoT (just without cele ele of course) by using the tools they have and not ask for things they can’t do.
Edit: I don’t just think scrapper just needs passive nerfs, they also need more added to their kit (in my opinion, I’m not a scrapper expert so feel free to correct me) so they can do more then just be tanky, hard to kill, and do some okay damage.

Tempest was an OP sustain powerhouse in S3, so you want carrion and rabid removed for S4.

Bunker Tempest was OP in S3 and you would be foolish to think otherwise. It was rightfully nerfed, which was progress. Now lets go further by dealing with the tanky condi spammers.

I think power faceroll builds need to go . it is the same thing . How many classes use condi builds ? how many uses direct damage ? The only thing that introduces a little diversity is the 2 or 3 class which uses condition builds … otherwise the game is only dps/healsbot …
