Targeting in this game is terrible for melee
I got to agree, while it might sound not that horrible for other classes who only get a cooldown, sometimes even if they miss, the warrior’s burst skill is a different thing…
It is annoying to fight a mesmer, and using eviscerate to finish him off, but thanks to clone-spamming, a clone blocks the attack, making me waste my adrenaline as well…
Right now, all that I want ,is that you won’t waste adrenaline on clones, and if possible, to make it so that the leaping melee moves won’t get blocked by pets… (which happens to my eviscerate, EVERY, SINGLE, TIME)
yeah totally same with stomping and revive when downed players are grouped together u can’t choose to stomp the enemy or revive it’s irriating same with some movement skills like greatsword #5 on warrior to use it to run away u need double tap escape and to charge an enemy half the time it falls down holes or runs against the wall or small hill with terrible pathing
This game needs “Target nearest PLAYER enemy”
I have mentioned this. An option to turn of targeting NPC. If you want to target that bird, or turret or even binding root..you can,..but you have to do it manually. I think mesmer clone should be excluded from this list though as it is part of the mesmer game play to distract and confuse. Heavy melee relies upon hotkey target closest in AoE particle mash when you can’t see anything on screen briefly. It is super annoying to be on someone…FLASH…before you know it your now attacking some one’s minion,..not the target you just had 3 seconds ago.
