Well, I suppose. The team queue population is small enough that you’d just have to be careful to not do very good in team queues, though. Nothing says fun like facing an e-sports level team with two solo players and a group of three WvW buddies.
I wouldn’t want to solo queue a team arena from an MMR very far within the top 1000.
i hate to be forced to play teamQ as a solo player now but rewards jsut sooo much better
it is annoying to play with randomteam vs premades when you see they are bad but sitting in ts carrys hard
i dont know why arenanet go back to this bulll…. and nowhere near balanced Que when we had this problems months ago. This was the reason why they had to make soloQ.
teamQ is not competive and just Teams farming randoms.

There’s really no reason to play SoloQ ever again.
For me, the reason is losing a LOT more matches. I don’t know if it’s my position in the leaderboards but 2/3 of the games I go into on team queue I end up with utterly clueless teammates who get slaughtered by well-organized premade teams.
I’m sure it’s not just me, either.
Basically, compared to solo queue, your chances of a competitive match as a solo player are much lower. Because there’s a good chance your opponents are better than your teammates.
i will go team queue as solo until they remove skyhammer from solo queue. That map is just disgrace for pvp. Anet needs to listen their players and remove that piece of kitty from tournaments.
with this you make them happy cause they need canonfodder for their 5 e-sport teams
Played a team of players from top 20 and we did lose heavily, but it was still great fun and we got some kills and learnt a lot. It’s certainly not the norm to play esports level teams and not hard to be at least competitive.
You just sound like one of those moaners who gives up in first 30 seconds of match then sits in spawn insulting rest of team. If you don’t try, you will always suck.

In my experience that is a rarity. I haven’t had any 4vs5s in team queue (but many in solo queue). And the people in team queue seem to have a better understanding of what’s going on/how to play.
Sometimes I come on as a 5th (random) member of a 4 man team, in which case I can just ask them which class/build they need to support best, and other times I have been in a group of complete randoms (all joined team queue solo) and we have beaten (weak) pre-mades.
The biggest difference in whether I win or lose seems to be whether I change class to suit the needs of the team or selfishly play the class I find most fun (usually ends in a loss).
The biggest plus of course is that I never have to play skyhammer!

Rank is not equal to kill. Plus a lot of people have multiple accounts. You never know who you are playing.
Oh ye? Okay, bring ur under-rank-10 party, with fresh ppl, not 2nd acc’s to face my team of my r40/50+ friends. Should be 50/50 each side, according to U, right?

When ppl in these forums will understand, that without experience, gotten from playing tournaments, many of them, there is NO gr8 skill in play? Is it that hard, rlly? Wining a 1v1 doesn’t mean u r skilled, but I guess 90% ppl assume its equal. I won’t go further explaining this, coz no1 will listen anyway, and will keep saying like buch of sheeps “beee rank means beee nothing, beee”. Few ppl posted this mega-false (ofc ther are exeptions) and it gotten cool to talk like this.
What all ppl saying this souds basically like this: Rank 7, but skillful = Rank 60 tourney vet with 3k+ wins and huge game/pvp mechanic knowledge and exp. Look at this, and if sum1 tell me it’s true, there is no hope for him.
