Does anyone know the gossip on why caed isnt on the team?

Seriously when i think of thief only 4 names come into my head

Toker
Muffins (now a rev, gross)
Sizer(thats funny now)
caed- who was killing it for spookie

Im wondering why a change was needed when things were going so good.

I think of those 3 names and Martin.

Caed had a disagreement with his teammates about the team comp so he left.

Caed’s thief was one of the only interesting things going on too, imo.

My guild entered into the 2 ToL tournaments (we could because it wasnt on a weekday)
and the 2 teams we lost 2 were the abjured and team risk.

Watching toker and caed crush on thieves has been a highlight on the NA pro scene and your right about that being the most interesting thing in the league.

I mean EZ PZ lemon squeezy straight up said screw it we will just go meta builds and they won which is what makes what toker and caed did that much more awesome.

I care. Prior to Spoookie changing their composition, they looked like they were going to run their bunker-breaking comp again. If they did, it likely would have been much more entertaining (and perhaps more effective). Their change to a bunker comp gives me one less reason to watch Pro-League when I’ve been so short on reasons to watch it already.

I stepped off my team after disagreements about team composition and the best comp to run in our match this previous Monday. I wasn’t on the same page as the rest of my team and I felt like I didn’t belong. They had a sub prior to my leaving and I wish them luck in the upcoming matches.

Not quite. I don’t mind playing other classes – I didn’t agree with counter-comping ourselves. I learned Revenant regardless, and I play more than just Thief. That’s part of the competitive game (being able to adapt). But shifting into a comp that the other team already has an advantage over wasn’t something I was willing to do. In the end they ended up mirror comping a team who already played the comp and had experience with it. PZ only changed one person, whereas Spookie changed 3. Not enough time to get used to a comp change that drastic against a team that’s been running the comp for a month.

Looks like he called it too, seeing how the team tanked.

At least Toker’s still great to watch. That shadow trap, lol! Would be used more often too if it didn’t bug out all the time.
