they should be trying to concentrate on how they can get more people into Spvp not… how to get rid of them.

Arena net, your killing your game. YOu need to do as much as possible to make pvp popular. Attempts to monotize it at backfiring (ie law of unintended consequences).

Consider league of legends vs dota 2. Leauge was free to play and became popular, by time dota 2 caught on to this and went f2p league was way ahead of it in popularity.

I’m hearing the no gems in paids is a bug apparently. So it might get fixed. (unconfirmed heard on a stream on twitch tv).

Nobody will be playing paids this way unless they’re just testing it. You don’t get to figure how competitive the map is because people just won’t bother spending 3 tickets for a chance of winning 1 QP and a silver chest. If you want this game to succeed you should know better..

Im so sad i really had high hopes for this patch. I didnt expect balance changes i know thats coming in febuary. but i was hoping my team that doesnt have 1000 gems and cant afford frequent paid tounries could enjoy one week of cheap paids to pratice and learn to play.

LOLpatch. You go in , you strive to play on a map that’s semi-awful anyways. If you win you get 1 QP, if you lose – you lose 3 tickets.
Even if you win , wtf will that QP do for you? It’s the most useless and kitten currency in any game ever.

In any case, if you win 9 games out of 10 , in the end you will still be -3 tickets =))

This is just so stupid, if this would stay in the game like this, event the best Team would at some point be forced to craft tickets or farm free’s. You cant win EVERY match…

wtf, i dont get it, now you will always lose tickets, no one can win every game in paid-pvp. So longterm every team gonna lose tickets, it’s just kitten Especially teams who are new in tpvp wont be able to pay this.

And whats the deal with the qualipoints, when do we get MRT’s – in 6 Month?…
It’s the most useless currency ingame at the moment, there are teams with 1,4k Points who can’t do anything with these points.

With consistently poor design with every “feature” ArenaNet has released I really have very little faith in them living up to the hype of the game saving patch to be released in February/March.

Maybe they will allow for competitive play then without out an associated fee. I guess if you screw things up so badly at first you can revert to standard ideas and call them innovative improvements.

If pvp doesnt become popular , it wont ever be worth much. And it wont become popular if they make it pay to play. Or grind to play.
