Why not keep the system, but randomize the map? Or get some sort of a “map of the day” for each day of the week.
Even though Temple is a great map, we’re getting tired of playing it over and over.
As Rolyate.6753 said, it’s been “popular” (getting way more pugs) because of the limited time frame.
I think the popularity is mostly due to the lowered tournament cost and a guaranteed copper chest. I don’t think it’s the map itself that’s perked up tPvP…
Could we get the option of choosing a map? Everything except raid on the capricorn. 1 v 1 is indeed popular but people are tired of playing the same map for a week and now having a double dose of it.
Come one, don’t forced us to play Temple again for one week… the only reason why we were playing it was because there was no other option and everyone thaught it would end this evening.
I’m pretty sure your statistics will completly fall down in less than 48h.
Please just add the usual maps… and do something against portal buff :/
1v1 is nice and all… But the same map for another week?! Why not just have random map 1v1s for paids instead? The map is not bad at all, but 2 weeks of it is just insane.

Biggest thing to take away – the format is moving from 8 teams to 2 teams. Other changes will also be coming. Watch for the blog.
Cmon, really? Some of us actually liked the 8 team format, cant we have both? Atleast in that format good teams had a + in tickets/gems, in this format u are guaranteed to lose tickets over time which means having to farms frees !!!
And who wants to play this map for another week, what testing is actually happening here !?

Uhhh how is this a good idea? A week of testing was reasonable but what is the point of this second week, are you interested in how quickly you can drive people away from PvP??? Don’t be lazy put the other 3 maps in please
I think all the posts here really show that people AREN’T happy with Temple of the Silent Storm being the only map choice.
I don’t know if I can handle another week of this.
How much coding does it take to rotate 3 other maps in?
I would very much like to see the other 3 maps added to the rotation, just like the rest of people who have posted here. The sooner the better, of course.

Rotate the map could mean we are stuck with a week of either Foefire, Khylo, Niflhel, or god forbid Capricorn. A single different map wouldn’t necessarily be bad, but is far from each paid choosing a random map.
@ Raid: We do not consider Raid to be a tournament map at this point in time.
@ # of maps?: Right now we will do one map per week, so that teams can adjust to the new maps and get their builds ready. This will also allow us to see the meta shift week by week, based on the map. This is very useful information for us.
