Terror, cc or dmg
I suggested this in another thread (and it actually made it on to the SotG, which was pretty cool), but I think that Terror could make for a great Grandmaster trait. It really changes the way the necro is played and is very powerful. It doesn’t shake up builds too terribly and makes one choose between scepter bleed length and a damaging aspect of fear, which together can combine for maybe a little too much pressure.
Happy to hear from the SotG that ANet is onboard and aware that Necros are too powerful. Interested in seeing how they address bringing it down slightly, especially with skill floor/cakitten ues.

As a necro player i think this change would work great. It would make you choose between more damage or better utility. I would certainly go for the utility!
As someone who has played a terror necro for months before this patch, I would be ok with this change too IF I could keep fear as an interrupt but not a hard CC.
Losing reaper’s mark to interrupt stomps or revives and doom to interrupt heals would be a big nerf.
Terror hasn’t changed. Why is it all of a sudden a problem now after 10 months? Your problem is with burning, not terror.

Neither was inf strike. Which as an example means old abilities will be changed for the new vision.
That sounds lazy. Skills called terror, you don’t want it to fear people.

The problem that all these whinners have is that they cant learn to play. Like for e xample countering the “oh so OP terror”, the CC can be evaded so easy, just double tap when it is gonna end and root you, or just get outof range if before it finishes, if u can…
For once, necros have a real way to escape and an usefull F1 ability for his condition build, before it was just a short second life and an instant fear, if u wasnt power build ur damage sucked… now condition necros can deal some damage using this skill while in shade form.
