I wanted to make this forum post for a while.. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone over at Arenanet.. Thank you for believing in the pvp community and not giving up on us.. Thank you Grouch and Hugh specifically for making us go Esports.. I know you came in and picked up the pieces Grouch, you never gave up on us or the game and did your best to push us towards Esports.. You must have put so much of yourself to get us to the place where we are today.. Thank you for being so cool Hugh, and not thinking Grouch was crazy.. I just wanted to say that I am grateful for everything.. You guys are always doing Tpvp and trying stuff out making sure things are balanced and we’re enjoying ourselves with a fun game.. How cool is it when you can actually play against the Dev’s who made the competitive pvp scene? I count that as a blessing and i’m super grateful for it! I’ve run into a lot of devs in pvp and i just wanted to say thank you to all of them! You guys make this game fun.. I always said Guildwars 2 had the best combat system out of any MMO to date and that we would eventually go Esports.. Since BETA a lot of my friends have quit, and it’s beautiful to see so many of them comeback to this game! They might have comeback for that 400,000$ or they might have come back for the honor and prestige, but deep down inside i like to think that it was because of all the work that you guys put in to make PvP such a fun, challenging, and now finally such an awesome rewarding experience! Lots of love to everyone over at Arenanet for giving us Heart of Thorns!

How are you not banned yet given your appalling treatment towards that thief. I saw those screen caps and what you said was totally unnecessary and disgusting.

hahaha no.. I just found out today my 5th naru is banned from playing in NA ESL because he’s from Egypt (Africa), all my teammates are super mad and bummed out.. I honestly still deeply feel that grouch has done way more for me and the pvp community and they deserve some love.. All i’ve been seeing on the forums lately is DH hate and PvP QQ.. I feel like we should all be grateful we’re finally esports!!

Nothing personal, but how is the OP not banned after publically calling out another player on the forum, calling him kittened and so forth, and given the screen shots posted by the player he was abusing showing serious and repeated personal abuse directed at him from the OP and the OP’s team?

ESports killed the fun for everyone else in sPvP.

This guys team should all get banned , he gave the proof that they belittled and berated a player, and thats just wrong…that being said it is nice it is becoming an esport. Hopefully that pushes them to do better with balancing

It sounds like my niece’s arguments…she is 5….but he hit me first(fomplaining about her 2 yr old brother)…just be the bigger person and walk away…hard to do sometimes but makes the game more enjoyable for all
