Thanks for making pvp unplayable due the elite spec beta test. Everywhere there are these new OP skills and people who have zero clue about pvp just testing the skills.
Why not make a seperate queue for the elite specs or better open up a real testserver instead of this nonsense.

Yes it is a big deal, I wanted to dedicate this weekend to pvp since I need to get some reward tracks done. But now I guess I can scrap this plan.
Enabling the new elite specs outside of hotjoin games is a terrible idea, everyone seems to be just doing random chaos to try out the new specs instead of trying hard to win.

Also one of the new firebrand skills gfx (no idea which one it is) makes me feel nauseous. Anet should have a look at those firebrand skill gfx and potentially tune them down.

Reward tracks progress win or lose….. and everything is Essentially Unranked during off season, lol. You can still grind out reward tracks.

It’s not like losing or winning has very much effect on anything right now.

because a test server will make you last longer on queue. Good thinking.

Its a perfect idea imo as there are really good min/maxers and/or thoerycrafters out there who can find exploits in the new classes.If there was also a beta testing server, PvP and WvW would be a wasteland for the 3 days (for most servers anyway).

Complain all you want, as you have the right to, however its the best way to do it and keep the game modes active at the same time.

You can still play on live without new specs, or?

ANET failed again. Some people want to play wvw and pvp in normal way, like they did before…now we have an army of demo **** running around. Thank you anet for proving once again how intelligent your team is. At least it helped decide not to buy an expansion.

they they should do it without ruining the normal game play. I do not want to be affected by elite specs still in obvious pre-beta status.
This kind of testing should not be done in a live environment, especially not in places where you can win or loose (=pvp/wvw). I tested WvW also, it is “ruined” also.

First, not every person has time to waste by learning what skills and other kitten will be delivered with expansion, after more than a month. Second, there are many players who paid money for this game since the launch, spent a lot of £££ on upgrades (I was one of them, luckily I have returned my investment) and would like to play the game, not wonder what skills other newbies are using or getting teamed up with people who just run on side and pew pew.

We have balance patch and it’s enough to learn what is what. There is no information yet about new builds, it’s still in beta and will be changed. Why should I waste my time on learning it? Why during weekend I can’t enjoy playing WvW or PVP? Just because some **** decided to search for another OP build so they would be able to satisfy their ego how awesome players they are? Anet, turn your head on finally.

You guys act like the Season is active or something. Literally crying about Unranked being “ruined” for a couple of days. Take a step back and realize what you’re doing right now.

You realize that this gives them time to make adjustments right? Like you do know that, that’s the purpose of a beta right?

Notice how when HoT was in its demo stage and we had a lot of power builds? They were insanely strong too, not so strong now are they?

Ill never understand why people take beta tests to heart
