The Warrior turns to the guardian and says, “Did you hear something?”
Guardian replies, “No, but how’d the elementalist die?”
Do you have a profession you enjoy slapping around when you are in a PvP match. You know, the profession that, for whatever reason irritates/annoys you enough that tend to focus them more than others?
Mine would be thief. It has its roots in the fact that i played a lot of WvW at release and the rendering issues coupled with the 2 spammers did it for me.
Now when I hotjoin i tend to pick the team that has the most enemy thiefs to face off against. Their cries are most righteous.
Warrior and guardian, both because of the kind of player I picture playing a hambow or bunker guardian, as well as the fact they are both easy targets in WvW outside the zerg. I just have been conditioned to kill them.
Necromancers because I have the most hours in one so they’re much easier to counter than others
Guardians because they are the easiest to kill with my necromancer.
when i team queue i play guardian but when i hotjoin i play thief, i am so used to say “azfghuck call target on the necro !1!!!” that i automatically glue myself to every enemy necro i see around :P
Mesmer/Ranger/Ele/Thief.
Unless they’re REALLY good, I usually roflstomp the above,
Rangers because they’re an easy kill.
Thieves, because I love putting noobs in their place.
Condition Warriors. Because seriously, cmon man.
They deserve to die and I will spawn camp them.
condi war would be at the top of my list, but i always avoid them now.
right now: hambow. my build is pretty much centered around any cc heavy, dps burst builds.
i think shatter mesmer is fun to play against but i havent seen many skilled ones lately. the top of my list is a pro d/d ele but they are pretty much extinct.
Thief. Simply because I want to show them how to play their profession.
Thief.
Also Elementalists.
They think burst damage is so cool.
I don’t care about professions, but I LOVE killing asuras. Scream of dying asura for me is best sound in PvP ever.
Engie…
Good ones are close to impossible to beat, and less skilled ones are still hard to down.
Ranger. Feels good when I overpower 111111
bomb/nade engi…i wouldn’t say I slap them round, they bring too much to the table to be slapped round easily. They have been, and still are in my opinion the strongest 1 vs 1 profession. They don’t get a lot of representation so the QQ remains low, but if they ever raise in popularity people will wish hambow was the most popular again.
Other engis (THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE) and thieves.
depending on what class i’m playing, but its usually my axezerker warrior so i usually love ruining a MMs day by blending their minions before slaughtering the MM XD
or as thief i love dropping shortbow poison field beneath a hambow to screw up their regen and then nuke them from the edge of the fight with p/p unload spam XD
Thieves.
As Scarlet would say: Die die die. Die die die, die die!
Evasion Thieves.
No mercy, no respect.
Thieves for the most part. Devastating if left alone, but usually die quickly in a burst before they can even try to escape.
It depends on the build really. If I see one playing well I might focus in an engagement and leave it at that.
If I see one spamming 3 on sbow or 2 on dagger I’ll hunt them down all match.
FOTM Warrior rerollers. :-P
Rangers cus the majority of them are glass nerf guns with 0 stability or mobility.
Hopeless thieves. Some of the best fights I have had are against good thieves, many who became friends as a result. But seeing thieves spam stealth/22222/attack 1vX with far more confidence than skill… instant targets.
Meta warriors. So many of them misplay and make constant mistakes yet there is almost no punishment due to how easily builds can carry them. That moment when a trolling warrior engages you then realizes they picked the fight with the wrong person… when their health is low and can’t escape… it’s so amusing.
I hunt down hambows ranked higher than me with my gs glass war (or othe homemade builds) and then sceam “DEMACIAAAA” when I down them.
In tournament I learned to go after burst eles, because they are dangerous if left unchecked.
I am a fan of killing mesmers as soon as I see one I start chasing
other than that I am not really that picky but mesmers are my huge omg must attack that guy. I guess because it is my main and I always want to see if I can outplay the other mesmer.
Noob thieves, couse it makes me angry that they are the main reason of ppl hatin the profession.
Other engis (THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE).
^this pretty much

Can’t believe you would tell everyone this about us poor eles. We are harmless I swear just leave me alone!

I’ll do the same with every glass cannon… and you are one of the few that still remain.XD
I love killing those hambow warriors on my thief, they rage so hard when I own them. Once you understand them they are pretty easy to kill. I admit I hate fighting zoo necros though
i hate any AI based classes (mesmers, rangers, mm necros) because franky half of the job is done by computer and makes up for player mistakes, add asura small size + pet blocking + cluster kitten on the screen abuse, you get the idea
sadly, AI is strong atm and it is not that easy to “slap” them around but i try

Thieves.
While playing any of my classes.
Thieves>mesmers>necros>eles
you really just don’t want to let any glass cannon free cast on your team. In Korean elementary schools they teach you the phrase “higher burst should go down first” to help the younger future esports stars learn this concept.
Any AI/Condition build, but if I had to chose one, it would definitly be PU Mesmer, the best of both worlds. As a all time melee style player, I cannot see a PU mesmer player without pitying them. Seriously, talk about maximum cheese against any melee spec.
What’s that? Did I destroy your clone/phantasm army while you are running in circles? No problem, just resummom them right away, while I take some nasty conditions for punishing you! Oh, you just came out of stealth and I went for a CC? Nope, Aegis and Protection. If it didn’t work, just teleback with your staff. Perma vigor, easy time invunerability, I can’t even autoattack when you land your pink bubble of death (thanks daze). SERIOUSLY. KITTEN. EVERY. PU MESMER
