Guild Wars 2

I’ve seen it thrown around a lot in Anvil Rock HotM map chat… it’s usually about which team is better, but I’ve always wondered who were the best individuals of each profession. I don’t play much tPvP but I do watch a ton of tPvP streams and have talked with a few top players, secretly probing to find out their opinions. The following list is the result.

These individuals are not necessarily the best duelers, but they possess great team presence that makes them formidable opponents in tournaments. When you see one, you usually know you’ll have a decent match ahead of you. I strived to be as objective as possible.

The list is for recently active players and does not reach too far back to include players like Oppa, Payne, Milty, Zclipse, Intense, etc… Further suggestions are always welcome!

Remember this list is really just an opinion. You’re welcome to offer your opinion but try not to reprimand just because you don’t like a certain player or you’ve had one bad experience with another.

No idea who any of these people are.

Curious as to why Muke Muscleshell, who is obviously the greatest GW2 player and also the best video game player planet Earth will ever see, is not on the list? Is this post meant to be blasphemous?

Everyone thinks they are the best players, just as everyone thinks they are smart and beautiful. Reality is quite different though.

What you’ve done is basically found out who the elitist are in SPVP not necessarily the top players. Map chat is full of people that think they’re the best and people that feed their egos. For One some of your “acknowledgements” are better than the players u numbered and some people who are good aren’t even on the list. Lastly also some players who aren’t good at all but just hangout with some “known” people are on the list especially in the elementalist column.

Ranking the best players in a TEAM game seems silly to me but Ill bite:

How can we rank the “best players” when we have never had a “major” Guild Wars 2 tournament……? There could players out there that could wipe the floor with everyone on your list but no one’s ever heard of them because they dont stream paids (which are really just scrimmages at this point since nothing is at stake).

Put these so called “best” players in a room with money on the line and then we’ll find out who really is “the best” and whose just talking big.

Youre at a 10 in enthusiasm OP…………..we need you at a 7 for right now….

This game (or mode) needs a competitive scene if you want people to have even an idea of who those names are.

At the moment, the gw2 pvp competitive scene… if there’s something worse than “non existent”, then that would be perfect to describe it.
