I think that the Heart of the Mist should be a free for all death match. People should be able to kill one another and gank people and just bum rush their haters. Would you like to see this too?

I would be interesting to see this happen but some sort of a penalty should be applied for killing afk people or people who wont fight back.

Since there would be no rank or points of any kind, it would not matter if you died afk. It would just be fun. Costume brawl is stupid. I want to be able to gank people with like 10 of my friends…while they least expect it.

All of this would just be for fun of course.

but true pvpers HATE leveling so going in into sanctum imo would just be dumb

That is fair, I didn’t think about that part.

You wouldnt be abe to get kitten done if this was put in game. No changing skills/armor/traits/weapons.

How could you possibly think this is even a remotely good idea without a way to toggle it on and off? You could literally spawn camp someone for hours and stop them from doing anything in the Mists with their build.

Honestly, did you think about this for even a second before posting it, lol?

Would be interesting to set your self to Hostile or Passive while out of combat. Hostile players could only engage hostile players and all players who enter the Mists are Passive by Default. Food for thought, and would certainly kill some time between Tournaments.

I’d be down for this! Except mayyybe move the bank and venders… and keep the practice areas clean so people can actually test things.

- Second thought should just move practice stuff to our home instance and let us put on our PvP stuff.

but let people choose to opt out or to be passive. gear up, check pvp locker, pass by etc.

Unless it csn be toggled on and off, all this would do is allow people to troll the crap out of others and ruin their experience in PvP. Anyone who would be willing to toggle hostile on and duel.you would be just as willing to take it to a duel server though so it’s hardly necessary.

1) I like the idea of duels but would rather them be kept to HOTM to fill the area.
2) I don’t pve but can see that being abused with map exploration

Best of all now that the pvp que/hotjoin system is disjointed from the heart of the mists there’s no penalty at all.

In fact I think we should be able to camp the PvErs and not let em run through without dieing first..

Heart of the mists is currently under lockdown by autonomous pvpers. Sounds funny

Bad idea, would get stale after awhile. You want a Free for All? (relatively FFA) Click on WvW tab, go to Obsidian Sanctum. There you go, best place to do your random ganks and stuff.

Why would we want to go to some PVE area to pvp? :/

Heart of the mists should be dangerous! Want that free port to lions arch instead of paying the waypoint fee? better do it when no one’s around!
