Can’t believe there are people in the forum that believe personal score is an indication of skill or a measurement of contributions made for the team.

I’ve said many many many times, especially in-game that it was amateurish for the devs to even post personal score. You’d expect developers to spot that error and eliminate or at least alter the stats presented. It just confuses noobs to over inflate their score by zerging/double capping and what not. It just confuses noobs to do what they’re NOT supposed to.

Only one event must take place for personal score to matter. And it’s something that hardly ever occurs and hasn’t happened to me in over a year – a tied score when timer expires.

Good luck explaining that to ANet. We’ve been trying since launch.

My hypothesis is that no one at ANet has done anything competitive since their parents packed up the T-ball set.

But yea, personal score means absolutely nothing… it’s only good for figuring out whether or not you’re winning team fights – knowing who’s dying more.

The personal score needs to be revamped to statistics only. More emphasis on Statistics please…

I mean, I get that no one else cares about personal score and it can’t accurately indicate someones contribution to the outcome of a match, but when I’m playing warrior while in ranked Sapphire and I clearly alter the course of a match with my personal performance, I reserve the right to flaunt it on the forums at my leisure

@Vapour how the hell did you out-rotate and out-score your opponents being one man down?

It just makes more sense if they were the ones that out-scored you and your team out-rotating them. I think you’re the devil. Can you AFK when my team goes against yours?

Incoming fast hands rework. Now it is slow hands and increases weapon swap by 5s. GG esport balance kekekekekekek.

It was not so uncommon to win 4v5 a year ago ,especialy at legacy , temple and khylo.
Legacy for obvious lord strategy, and temple offered, beside buffs, posibilty to box teams at base same as khylo…

Thanks guys. 4v5 are winnable if everyone in the team work together while being paranoid about rotations (holding and defending nodes are top priority – intruders are forced to evacuate). If one person in your team values and are focused on inflating their personal score, it’s pretty much over

Personal score is as irrelevant to conquest pvp as bicycles are to fish.

Anyway, nice work for winning that 4v5. I’ve won 4v5 in Khylo and Temple by reaching 500 points first but never from a tied score. That was incred.

In a 4v5, it helps a ton if you’re comfortable with the class you’re on because you need to win many 1v2 encounters.

People that value personal score fail at outnumbered fights because they have very little experience defending capped nodes. If they had more experience defending, they would have already realized how BS personal score is.
