The Shiny problem
I can’t make Gold effectively in PvP. No one can.
So in order for me to buy extra toon slots, or new Arena tokens, I would have to level a toon to 80 in PvE and grind for hours on a single dungeon (CoF). Why? I don’t know.
I have tried another option, using my experience and skill in PvP to get gold. I know that Laurels are precious to simple PvE players, so I offer to teach them PvP in exchange for small bits of pocket change (50 silver to 1.5 gold depending on the class). That goes over really well, I love being laughed at and ridiculed by players 1/15th of my skill.
I have also tried selling Dyes. Which doesn’t form a solid source of income.
So, that aside, does anyone have any bright ideas how to effectively acquire shinies?
I farm svanir and chieftain all day, they actually drop 5g once in awhile.

You don’t farm svanir and chief in mists for 8 hours a day like I do champ.

Ignore waka, his method is ineffective.
What you want to do is kill Ranger npc in the top center of the map. Easy 15 gold.

Find a minimum wage paying job. Work for 1 hour. Buy gems for character expansion slot.
If all you do is PVP, you don’t really need much gems. Selling dyes alone I am able to buy multiple character slots so far. That or go run the SAB for skins they sell handsomely.
Time is money. You can grind it out or spend a few well bucks on Anet.

Use your laurels to buy unid dyes or T6 mat bags, open them, and sell the results.

No. No true PvP player should ever come out of RL Pocket for this sorry excuse of a Tournament. When they bring HA and GvG then I’ll spend money. Until then no kittening way.
