Still i must admit, on by bunker 30khp guard build….. if i want to kill someone im forced to use 2 traps, game gets alot easy with traps :\, i have won 1 vs3… by just deploying traps..
Still that is the skill that is required to play this game, use that makes you win :\, thats all that is needed.

I was doing it on old Skyhammer, actually. Unload the traps where they have to come through the gate – I don’t recall if they were actually being downed by the traps alone, but I wasn’t having to do much.

Of course, DH traps have been nerfed since, and there are no places where you can guarantee you can hit someone without their defenses up.

TBF situational awareness is half the battle.

Oh this reminds me of the time I walked into a stack of DH traps in WvW whilst wearing full rabid and was instantly downed before any of the animations played – I didn’t even have a chance to smack a 1 second Distortion. There was absolutely no enemy players around so I just rallied myself and laughed. Although I died inside a little when I thought about the fact that Anet had created something where you could burst down players without actually being there. Very classy.
