I know I know, people complain about this all the time but I havent had my turn to rage yet.

I know the leaderboards are broken and I know most of the top rank holders are one hit wonders with good win to loss but hardly any wins, BUT I was actually trying to get a decent rank in solo que, and got myself up into the 300s before today. Today I was in about 12 solo Qs and out of 12 of them, 6 were 4v5s, 1 was 3v5, and 2 were against completely stacked teams of the top 25 players. I won 3. I don’t even want to look at my rank.

Yea the solo que rating is completely unforgiving, you lose to the wrong person who was randomly shuffled into a vVv sync’d group and you can fall like 100 spaces in one go.

4v5s are brutal and plentiful, but that’s expected because it’s solo que. If you don’t like it que with a full team.

Just forget about it, enjoy the good fights and if anyone ever tries to brag about their solo que ranking just know that they’re probably a wvwvwer or something.

just do what any other top player does…

Yes I give up on ranking. Ill just que up for fun now. I used to care but its impossible to maintain a good rank while relying on other people in solo Q.

I figured maybe it was a rough few days with queing, but its not. I joined this game for the pvp but now Im quitting because of it. Went from rank 200 to 84% in one day. I havent played a match without an afk or with all 5 of my team mates on the map in 3 days. I dont know if I have the worst luck or what it is. I got spirit watch 5 times in a row today. I know the ranking doesnt matter and honestly its not the main issue. The issue is I cant even have fun because 4v5 is a slaughter especially when your team loves to have 3 sitting on raven the entire match. GG

It’s not about getting matched up against the wrong person, rather from my experience it is the 4v5’s, and getting matched in a game where everyone is not on the leaderboards, and I am rank 200. It’s very frustrating when my team is nowhere near my mmr, and I lose a lot of mmr from those games.

To people who complain about 4v5s, are you trying to claim that you are on the team of 4 more often than not?

I would have assumed everyone has an equal chance of being on the 4 or the 5, so win/loss wise it works out about even?

Pretty sure Im extremely unlucky. I get 4v5s and afkers in my matches 2 out of 3 games.

Play soloqueue when
- decay is fixed
- there are more options for pinging on the map
- low ranked people know what they are doing

Just wait until they’re are fixed. (soonlol) I mean I really got into the leaderboards for a while. I got up to 29, then it hit me. Why I’m I doing this?

Games were a constant blow out, hardly any good games.
Too many cheese builds
4v5 and mismatches
Most of all no rewards for doing it. Why should I do this if hotjoin is more rewarding?

So I just stopped playing tpvp.
