Ok, what is the most fun, most deep, most skillful, most competitive match you can imagine in the current game? (and current balance).

You choose the team builds (both teams are the same), you choose the map(s).

What teams and maps would make you say, “man, if they deleted the entire rest of the game I’d be happier playing just this, over and over.”

I hope we can keep the sarcasm and complaints to a minimum. Let’s find some examples to say, “ANet, make more of this kind of gameplay!”

Map – Battle of Kylo (yeah the first map of the game is still the most balanced and fun map for me)

Team Composition? Everything that doesn’t rely on mindless spam and AI passive play (it’s hard to see something like that nowadays)

Legacy of foefire! I love the desperation lord rush and i like that the mid is huge so Aoe aren’t as strong!

As for Composition same as above.. just noo spirits, or necro pets or turrets or any AI at all, the less randomness the better. Also no thiefs, just because the class have so many tendencies to spam spam spam.. the really good ones does it only a little so they are ok but 95% of thiefs end up spamming.

Both Teams Consist of 3 Engineers, 2 Elementalists. Ban Supply Crate, turrets and summoning Glyphs.

You could generate pretty incredible build diversity with two teams of the same comp, and since only those two professions would be available there would be relatively little garbage in play once you ban the summons.

I find that the most fun matchups are the ones where people are running 4 DPS 1 Hybrid on each side and they’re good at it.

It has more of a moba anxiety feel to it, like if you don’t start the fight off really well you’re gonna wipe, instead of a marathon slog that takes forever.

It’s smarter to be heavy sustain and damage, but when people play really aggressively it’s fun as hell
