The leaderboard has not been updating every hour as its suppose to.
who spilled coffee on the server?

Ok jokes aside, any idea why the leaderboards are taking so long to update?
Last update was more than 6 hours ago.

I think they might be making adjustments , i would prefer then to update every 4 hours or so tbh ,

Leaderboards finally updated and it is not registering my wins.
I won 7 games in a row since last update and it is saying that I only won 2 games….

so basically last 3 hours completely wasted?

Yeah it hasn’t had a real worthwhile update in months.

edit: it finally kicked in with the latest update 3 min ago. It seems to be the case more of than than not, that it does not update when it says it will lately.

I’m not sure how to look at past snapshots, but your current leaderboard status is accurate with 92 points.

I will try to capture more data tonight as I play more games but I am fairly positive that I played more games than just 3 which was what the leader-board reflects.

In other words, not every ranked game is being captured on the boards.
Also, the part which says, “Next update at xx:xx am/pm PST” is definitely not when the leader-board is updating.

Having the same problem. The leaderboard is not updating every hour for me. Not even close. I’ll play a handful of games, decide to wait for the leaderboard to update before playing more, but then it won’t update when it says it should. Many hours later still hasn’t updated.

I will chime in here as well. Should have updated at 504am and it is now 747am. Somewhat frustrating given how much Anet has been pushing ranked PvP.

I literally have video proof that i have done them… i was recording footage for my new PvP build guide.

Ye – jokes aside its painful not seeing leaderboard update for hours.
We should be able to see our wins/loss/expected % of win and many other cool stats – by hourly breakdown. That we can go back and look at later.

I propose a much better leaderboard (or stat analysis) avaialble to the player.

Leader boards have not updated for more than 15 hours now….

Fix the automated leaderboard score update !!

It is erratically updating – which is frustrating to say the least.
As the last poster hinted has not updated for 15 hrs.

All will be forgiven if you allow us to click on our name and drill down and see the following:
Each match played, who played in the match,what professions each person played. % chance of winning,points gained/loss, byes, forfeits broken down over a week period.

Think of it like a sports history with full information supporting the current state.

Is the leader board broken or are you saying I got zero points from all those wins?

Is it just me, or has the EU Leaderboard not been updated the entire day?

As the #3 ranked player in NA, I check it very frequently. From my experience it misses updating on the hour at least 40% of the time. Sometimes this compounds to the instances where it has not updated for 15 hours.

it’s taking ages for me too.

Didn’t update for HOURS last night, hasn’t updated for at least the past two hours tonight… for both me and my friend. It’s been like this for a while.

Looks to be the entire leaderboard and not per player. Being on voice chat with a group where none of us can get it to update. Hope that helps.

The only thing that needed to be fixed was the decay (or lack thereof). Decay should also affect MMR.

Besides from that, the old leaderboard was awesome. I could actually nod to myself when I saw the people at the top and know that they were very skilled players.

Right now, the leaderboard is pointless and it angers me.

It’s the entire leaderboard which remains frozen for all players..worst I have seen it is for 15-16 hrs not updating, Whatever the automated process is for updating the leaderboards fails to update the basic information for all players. The timer for the update also reflects many hours in the past.

You have to look at the full leaderboard..even now it is broken:

Test Season should have ended 23 minutes ago.
Next leaderboard update should freeze the score over

It looks frozen to me (when leaderboards stopped updating the next update time was also not changing, now that changes every hour and nobody has shifted in position since last update)

Season is over, no ladder Test Season advice anymore on right corner.

I’ve played for almost 12 hours today. I checked my leaderboards early morning and then just now before logging off and it hasn’t updated anything.

Maybe that’s why they are taking a break from specializations because next week they might reveal us something? Not to mention next week is ready up.

My leaderboard record is frozen at 300 matches. It doesn’t update anymore so I’m stuck with 89 points. What’s the matter?

It was a test season and it’s over now…guess it will be live again once they implement all the changes they want (or we’re gonna see more test seasons)…

kitten… So in practice there’s no reason to play ranked vs unranked beyond choice of map sets? Makes no sense. They should as well close it.

Because if the entire leaderboard was supposed to be frozen (due to the test ladder season ending), why would he be asking about it like that? Wouldn’t he instead say, “Yeah, it’s not updating because PvP is over”?

The leaderboard hasn’t updated in the 24+ hours that I’ve been watching it. Is that normal?

The test season is over. The leaderboards will not function until Anet improves the system.

They will let us know when the leaderboard algorithm has improved and is ready for another test season.

So, is there a point to playing ranked?
