In my opinion, is custom servers. I remember when I played kill zone 2 one of the things I really loved is that you could create and server like we have in spvp to join. You had customizable options for that lobby/server you could choose. If you didn’t want any rocket launchers you could deactivate it, or no sniper rifles, or only certain classes. I see many issues with spvp, and I think one of the biggest ones is lack of a controlled environment we can access.
With this we could create 1v1,2v2,3v3, etc rooms. We could also say that all classes but Mesmer and thieves can join, or an only thief/Mesmer room. You would be able to set a password so only those you wanted to join could.
Compared to how much it would do for us, and how easy it is for them to implement, that is is easily (IMO) the first thing we need. Have you ever played a 5v5 or 8v8 spvp match with no thieves or Mesmers (the best of fun)? It can give new players the opportunity to play the game, have fun, and learn without being face rolled all day by classes whose hands are held by the game. You could be a pvp person that despises artificial intelligence in your matches. Nowadays I see more necros, rangers, and Mesmers, which just means more pets and a ton of AI running around. A problem I have been having lately is that sometimes it’s just too hard to even target the right person with all the pets running around.
Thoughts? I never really understood why it wasn’t there in the first place
