I am wondering when this PVP patch will be put in.

Supposedly its the holy grail of what we need.

Probably be the last day or feb… Wish it would come sooner.

if i should guess:
yesterday.. but something goes wrong during “QA” so they expand the time for actual 1vs1 paid.

they know the map is full of exploits and even if its fun to play 1vs1 no clear mind would expand the timeframe with a broken map unless something prevent u from releases new stuff like major bugs or problems.

its pretty obvious they are working on stuff for spvp. We where promised feb/march. and it will likely be two updates im guessing. so wait and see.

i say.. if they don’t give us what we want soon, we should all cancel our subscriptions.

They can always choose to delay it, if it isn’t ready yet :P
Im guessing they already lost so many players, the ones still sticking around will continue to stick around while they focus on get back the other players later. Not really an issue there I think tbh.
So, I dont have many high hopes for the patch… havent played for some months, just check this forum every now and then to see if they actually manage to stir things up. So far it just seems it’s too long left until the spvp in this game will be worth the gaming hours again

No matter how good it is, no patch can be a “holy grail.” I expect we’ll see several small improvements.

I also agree that the PvP population has stabilized somewhat (after dropping to dangerously low levels) so the devs shouldn’t be rushing emergency content. That’s usually something poorly thought-out and implemented that hurts the game in the long run. So, let’s take the several good, small changes that are most likely incoming and continue to have fun playing a game most of us already enjoy, and should only get better.

why do you think its in February? they never confirmed, instead they said first months of 2013 – and that could be march or even April as well..

They just made an announcement in the WvW forums that their big Feb patch is now a March patch. I wouldn’t expect anything, at all, for SPvP, until at the earliest, March.

Beat me to it. But I think since WuvWuv has been delayed, it’s because PVP has been prioritized for this month’s patch? (wishful thinking)

I don’t care much when it comes as long as it comes with all the bells and whistles its been made out to have.

I was hoping for matchmaking and some balance tweaks.

It didn’t necessarily say there weren’t going to be any balancing changes in February. All they said was WvW changes were going to be big so major changes will happen in March because of the amount of updates WvW has probably having a hard time fitting in February’s update.

Maybe February update which actually has a myriad amount balancing for PvP, who knows.
