The issue isnt Bunkers but lack of spvp map types
You made a goof in the first bit of your post: What we needed on release was multiple battleground types instead of “4” different capture the flag maps.
Other than that, it’s not safe to bet on more gamemodes until the initial gamemode has been perfected. Currently, they’re balancing around capture points.
Imagine Capture the Flag with the current balance.
Mesmer grabs flag. Mesmer captures flag.
Mesmer grabs flag. Mesmer captures flag.
Rinse and repeat, win.
Each game mode will require specific balance changes, and it’s a lot of work to put on the devs’ shoulders.
Maybe in the future. Definitely not now. Don’t throw in more content when the initial content isn’t even done.
I’d rather have one functional gamemode than two broken ones.
