Without a Guild Ranking, Guild vs Guild tourney ladder, or rewards, there is absolutely no reason for a Spvp guild to remain active. Members who have not quit and continue to play, guild hop daily to get into a groups for tourney. It is very hard to maintain a active guild when people are scattered, especially when members play time drops less and less due to the state of pvp as it stands. There is no reason for people to rep the guild, zero Spvp upgrades, no rewards, no meaning, nothing but more pvp disappointment. Why cant Anet create a ladder or ranking system based on guilds!! since the pvp is team based, personal rating wouldn’t matter yet maybe individual rating would contribute to the guild as a whole, similar to influence. I would much rather see this then paid tourney or custom tourney. Paid tourney will die just as fast as Free once people get enough gems and chests. NEED A REASON TO PLAY!! any thoughts to keep me motivated as a pvp guild leader would be appreciated!

I rep my guild to rep my guild. Don’t really need a reason more than that tbh. This is my crew, I wear the tags. Same as in an FPS.

The main issue is that Guilds offer rewards/upgrades, and track progress of PVE/WVW but not sPVP. Why is there no 5/10/15/20% glory boost perk? Things to do with PvP rank?

For those that don’t have many friends that play this game, and mainly only do 8v8, or occasional tournaments, guilds have zero purpose but another chat channel. I don’t rep any that I’m in, since there is no point to.

The friends list has the functionality most people use anyway.

I’m a part of a cross server tpvp only guild. I rep the tag just to show all the other team our tag- AND it has enough people online that I never have to PUG. That’s enough for me.
