The problem is not the system of leagues
Obviously problem is horrible system of leagues, how players are matched, soloq vs teamq, not properly reset MMR, MMR abuses and so on.
Start working Anet, this is nowhere to be even acceptable…

Winning a tight, hard fought competitive match is indeed much fun, however winning if it is a one sided blowout is boring as hell, unless you are a scrub more concerned with grinding your legendary backpack, than actual good, fun PvP, that is the problem with kittenty matchmaking.

It is very hard you pick a team against premade, I play PvP to 3 years, the problem is the skills of the players.
I’ve played with pugs who had good skills and managed to win against premade team, I’ve had other pugs were so bad that even against other pugs ended up losing.
I agree with the reset of the MMR and disagree on the alloy system, the system itself to create division, tier and much winning as losing points was a fantastic idea as well as the reward to create a legendary back and the leaderboard of the legendary division and between the premade teams.

After winning so often you will still hit your wall when you start to pull pro team premades.
Personally I don’t understand why the MMR wasn’t reset for the league. Because of the way MMR works I could create a new account and recreate my best class and get where I am now in the league in less than half the time, and get further more easily. Currently the league does not reward player skill because it doesn’t measure that, it measures how lucky you are to get a 5 win streak, or if you tanked your MMR to get streaks. I don’t understand in what sense that is suppose to be a competitive league.
