Hello!

I play this game since June 2014. I want to ask to whoever played since the first beta if it was always any profession that was Overpowered while others were Underpowered.

Actually it may be DH trapspam or Bunker Mesmer while Warrior and Thief are preatty broken.

I mean those cheesy brainless specs with 20% risk / 80% reward

I remember only the pew pew Ranger of the 2014 September patch

How about you guys?

at the launch of the game thieves were dominating pretty badly but that was because the game was fresh and there wasnt any meta or builds so everyone was running full damage and getting 1-shot by d/d thief. 5-steal-1 instakills weren’t anything special back then

after massive QQ and thief nerfs bunkers stepped into the meta with guardians and engis being annoying af (apparently just like they are now), also back then necros cemented into their sPvP role which they still hold until today (not saying they are annoying though)

in 2013 i quitted until HoT so cant say anything about that period

At start there was the Thief instagib meta.
Then Guardian and Engi bunkers (i seriously miss my condi immune/bomb bunker engi :P)
Then we all remember the flippin Turret Engis, perma Stealth Mesmers and PewPew rangers along with a loooooong time with cele d/d elementalists.

I dont recall any other special cheesy builds atm, i guess those were the more prominent

Tempest & Druid
