No1 wants unstoppable beast mode. You would just get nerfed even further than you are now. Maybe some more evades and condition cleaners.

I don’t really understand what this thread is supposed to accomplish but if it helps the warrior in some way, why not?

The point is to get warriors some face time with the devs. As every other major play class has seen face time and subsequent refinement

Why not two? Everyone has different idea’s of what a warrior needs to be effective in spvp. Have two guests that give different points of view on any changes or suggested changes. Let’s persuade Grouch to make the next sotg focus on warrior for the majority of the show. Warrior’s have been out of top teams for too long. The community needs to say that fixing the warrior’s problems is a priority.

He will say that he is ok using his archer build so he will look cool and good to the devs.

We should probably get 100% balance on the other classes and bring warrior up to that level in all honesty….

Bring down Necro a tad, I would say bring up Thief a bit but based on my teammate and Jumper and Cruuk I’m gonna say that Thief is in a very good spot lol. Bring up Ranger again (include more power builds vs. Condi builds. Longbow should be a viable weapon) and then bring warrior up to everyone’s level. CC build, Longbow build, maybe even burst build if possible and they’re almost set in all honesty….

Once this occurs, then start focusing on diverse builds for each class, making the meta a bit more wide open and the game as close to balance as we can get!

I say next SotG is all 8 professions talking, after Necro gets nerfed a small amount and Ranger/Warrior get buffed. Lets see how many builds each has, how to change it, and how to get complete balance.

Longbow warriors are not representative of the class as a whole, much as I find defective and anas tactics to be strong players.

Melee warriors are the key concern here and these should be represented.

In my efforts to avoid duo warrior I’ve never played with k pop, but I’ve heard good things and if he wants to speak for the few of us remaining on the next SotG I’d be down for that.

I don’t know why there isn’t someone too bring on that just plays all proffesions , and knows them decently well. Then we would not have to worry about which one person to bring on for his one proffesion.

That list isnt as optimal as it could be in my opinion….plus thats only NA players

my bad, forgot to mention NA only. Your list might have a little bit awkward because I saw Grouch… Defektive is a good warrior but I think his skill haven’t reach to the top tier player yet. Others I’ll agree.

For the record. The issue with warriors is simply AoE meta and thus our lackluster performance in melee range.

More HP isn’t a solution. Its an answer someone gives when they are in a pinch and have no response.

I’d be happy to talk on SOTG regarding warriors, im no dev fanboy, hell in the past I’ve been hyper critical.

But there are plenty of qualified warriors, Schwar, Bry, Tarcis, K Pop. Coincidentally we all play together and converse almost daily, so im fairly certain our responses will generally be the same.

Imo, the community should just pick one of us that will represent the class in not only an honorable way, but also a forward and proactive manor.

If you all want me, I’d be happy to. Ill also field questions and thoughts from the community to ask.

I’d vote for either defektive or k-pop, not just because of their ability to play warrior but because both seem to have quite a bit of understanding in terms of what exactly is wrong with the warrior. Not that it’s all that ridiculously complicated, but a lot of people don’t seem to entirely understand.

As far as lower level problems are concerned I’ve spoken with many new warriors over the last few weeks and am a frequent contributor to the warrior forums. For these reasons I would like to put my own name forward for this task, as I feel I would be a suitable candidate.

I’ve always been one to experiment with different builds and play styles and my shamans amulet shout build still confuses many players in the mists. This is also something I can bring to the table; build diversity. As one of the most experienced shout warriors in the game I know I can discuss aspects of the warrior which perhaps the other suggested names cannot. I also have a twitch account.

I know what you guys are thinking. Shout warriors in tpvp? But I’ve been doing some matches with the guy recently and its pretty legit. Have to say I’ll vouch for him to represent us too. If you don’t believe me, go ahead and watch his stream.

Its pretty brutal.

Whoever goes to the SOTG show, take a look at this suggestions:

-Yes movility skills should grant us evasion.and this could be merged with movile strikes

-The 10% more critical chance on sword should give 20% reduction on sword skills too.

-Yes, the reflecting missiles every time you block should be in the shield trait too and add another more usefull trait in there.

-Tactics minor traits need to be reworked reviving speed and toughness while reviving… nah, replace them for something morsefull like:

-healing every time you use a burst skill in the grand master, or gain regeneration.
-remove 2 condition each time you gain regeneration in master or each time you heal
-Increase healing power by something in adept

-Definitely get rid of those traits that reward you for not using adrenaline, those passive effects for sitting on adrenaline are bad.

-Adrenaline health is one example just change it so the effect will stay when you are full and then use your adrenaline and it will fade over time to the minimum level.

-Sure footed trait in the defense line should give 20% reduction cd on stances instead of 1 second duration…

-Definitely rush needs to be like bulls charge with no knock down.

-Warhon should convert more than 1 condition in a boon with the quick breathing, let us be realistic here, conditions are everywhere you have like 10 applications of everything and you convert 1 condition with warhorn… its just not that usefull.

-This is another… f2 bursting skills for offhand and 2 handed weapons, just to add more variety and utulities complexity to the class.

-Banners Burst skills, depending on the banner you do a burst that gives boons to the party members and gives conditions to allies, like i said, depending on the banner you used.

Battosai was awful, I’d say Gasmask would be a good choice.
