Share your story of the worst team you ever got.

Aside from the usual 3 people go boss on niflhel while the lone guard lets himself get slaughtered in mid i had a horrible game yesterday.

It was ToTs and we were still leading after getting an early 3 cap my team manages to lose bottom buff even with 3 people there and alive (no idea how they managed that! amazing feat to let someone cap a buff for 10 seconds!

Throughout the whole game my team has been CONTINOUSLY pinging the bloody kill point buffs without getting anything done (i.e. kills) – not sure if they wanted to say : Hey lets lose this kitten and get kills! killbuffs give glory right???

Anyway the game was 460 to 430 in our favor and we have 2 nodes – close and far – and top buff is up. 3 of my glorious teammates zerg in mid on the only capped node OFC not being able to decap mid pretty much all game they still think its a great idea. Im on close having just scared away a thief who runs off to top buff leaving me to full cap. Our last teammate went far only a few seconds prior to that and got an easy full cap on far without def.

All the time one of my idiotic mates pings top buff like a maniac – i do the only reasonable thing to do and type in all caps DEFEND FAR AND WIN. My entirely braindead teammate manages to leave far without a fight (full hp). Get down the stairs – at that point the thief gets the cap on top buff – my teammate runs the kitten off to mid to join the glorious never win anything zerg – lets the thief cap far almost instantly because he took back route giving them a good amount of time with both top buff and mid and far node securing victory.

This guy single handedly threw away the game. Very sad story.
Sometimes i really wonder how much basic cognitive function you can lack and still breathe.

edit: ohh and i forgot one of these pros actually managed to get to bottom buff at 9:30 and then wait for it to pop.. glorious game really

What was your worst team ever?

Perfect start with 2 mesmers in our team and 0 guardians. One of them goes for the enemy treb and the other one goes to our treb.

The guy at our treb does’t do his trebuchet bot job and after losing the treb starts randomly roaming around.

The guy at the enemy treb doesn t follow the rest of the team at far and fails to 1v1 the enemy guard at mid.
We had 2 points at this point and our mesmers could still catch up with the strategy we had previously planned… but nope.

Dumb mesmers, even more annoying than dumb thieves.

Condi engi trying to 1v1 a bunker guard on the middle node of legacy (wasting time).

AND DIES vs a BUNKER.

Must be the working matchmaking that i deserve to play with this.

Mesmer that kept pushing far point solo on temple and losing every match while mid was contested and we owned our home point. Mesmer never once tried to help the mid fight which actually had a chance of winning with one more teammate there….

Man, did he at least got banned or something? I didn’t even know bot exists in gw2… well not the one promoting a dating site or w/e it might be in … soloPVP? just wtf? It’s probably that trial thing that brought them here.

Agreed. I don’t think anyone can beat that. So Funny.

I said one on home one on treb rest in mid,they all went on home point!I just stood and cry!

Turns out we can talk about gayporn…… cool?

Today, I watched as my 4 teammates left spawn on kyhlo from the left gate. Did not cap home, all went to our treb, and failed to kill 1 person who killed the treb while i tried to 1 v 4 over three nodes. Turned out their ranks were 1,1,5,11.
