Hi frands this is Teef Teef Teef Teef #3 Thief NA 2014!

Lets say that (theoretically) some guy is playing 1 game every 3 days in ranked. On the third day, he plays a game, but magically someone on his team DCs, and he gets 0 rating. Does that game still count in terms of preventing decay? Would he not have to play another game for 3 days?

Note: This does not apply to me AT ALL, IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM. It’s theoretical only. cough

From what I recall when I did my decay matches, a loss with a DC doesn’t count to removal of decay. A win against a team with DC does count though

Just make sure you duo queue with them.
